King of the Road (recorded in a Dallas hotel room) on the travel ukulele

I'm in Dallas for work so I decided to make a video from my hotel room. Here's a cover of Roger Miller's 1965 classic, King of the Road. I performed this one on my 3-D printed travel ukulele and Lekato S4 travel amp.

I had a big smile on my face, it takes me back. My parents liked a bit of country music as we grew up - the days of 8-track cassettes and home stereos, and so I associate this song with that time. You sing this very well. I liked the stops and finger snaps. And as with your hotel room covers, it's quite gently played and sung! Very nice.
PS I am quite disturbed by the splat on the bed headboard. I'm not sure if I want to know what the story is there.

That headboard has seen better days, that's for sure. I looked like he finish was coming off in a few spots but yeah... it looks really weird in the vid. This song is so fun. Thanks for tuning in.
