Big smile! The fur babies are snuggling! Happy family! Thank you for the product review! I did NOT know one would keep a charge with an electric blanket! That's a game changer for me! 🤠 🤠
I just use a thin flat extension cord that fits under my door to hook up my little Honda generator when the power goes out, 700 watts is enough to power my gas stove fans, light, satellite box, Wi-fi and monitor. 12 hours on half gallon. Got a 7,200 watt Eco Flo and other generators to run well. I am bugging in!😎
I got myself an electric bike this summer as I don't own a car and the regular bike was just not working in my hilly neighbourhood and my asthma. Best little thing I ever bought! It's so fun and has given me so much freedom to get places!
Sometimes bugging in is way better than bugging out... just saying. I love that you dogs are now besties. It looks like you purchased another fixer upper. Good for you. I still say go for a minivan. I would get rid of both the Jeep and our class B before I would get rid of our Sienna and I love the Jeep Patriot for solo trips. My husband loves our older class B, but he doesn't drive it and I put the gas in it too. The class B is like driving a brick down the road, not good on gas and horrible in a cross wind. It does have a toilet and shower though... Thank you for another great video.
You are just the cutest!! So cool too!! Its freezing here. Couldn't imagine being on a bike!! We are blessed with a large generator. Hopefully, we won't need it. We get cold weather here and don't have a fireplace.

Fun start to the product review 😊 Definitely looks like a little different background with Rocky and Nala. Made your move already? Excited to see what’s to come
The best vehicle for emergency evacuation? It is the one you have, not the one you wish you had. It is the one that is in good working condition, has a fuel tank that is always kept at least half-full and is a vehicle that can transport the people and pets in your household (leave no one behind). Maybe the best vehicle is a small convoy of two or three vehicles if that is what it takes to get the members of your household out of the danger zone. That electric bike would be great for one person to get from work to home in an emergency, especially if there is traffic congestion or gridlock. Not so great if you want to evacuate multiple people or your pets from home. If our household must evacuate from our home, then we will leave in a small convoy of a mid-size motorhome pulling a small Jeep followed by a crew cab pick-up truck. And the two drivers will have walk-talkie radios to communicate with one another. Each of the three vehicles has a Garmin and a set of motor atlases. And every winter we practice evacuating from our home in southern Nevada and camping in the desert without connection to shore power or the use of campground restrooms and showers. Our RV has two rooftop solar panels and an Onan generator. We also bring along the smallest size Jackery power bank and folding solar panel for it and some solar-charged camp lanterns. This past summer we traveled across country on three round trip journeys, either by motorhome or just by Jeep when the motorhome needed to go into the repair shop. In Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana it quickly became miserably hot in the RV each time we stopped for a lunch break and turned off the engine, so we had to run the Onan generator to keep the interior cool enough. At night, we were either connected to shore power at a campground so we could run the AC or we parked at a pet-friendly motel and spent the night in a motel room. If we had to evacuate for real during summer, we would travel north and do our camping along the Canadian border so that we would be less likely to need air conditioning. The last time we did this, summertime camping in North Dakota was pleasant enough without running the AC unit.
Excellent point Princess: "The best bug out vehicle is the one you have now". What do you mean "when I used to live in AZ"? What happened? What did I miss?
You don't need an overpriced truck or SUV to haul a trailer, The movie The Long Long Trailer with Lucy and Dezi Arnaz used a 53 Lincoln convertible to haul a 32 ft 3 ton trailer, A neighbor used his 72 Chevy Vega hatchback, with a small block V8, larger trans and hauled a 20 foot travel trailer. I believe the Vega was changed to all disk brakes and he change the front wheel and axle bearings every 50,000 miles, worked good.
Bug out vehicle also is important for hurricanes (Me in FL), wild fires out west, tornadoes all across the nation... power outages anywhere... when you just need to get back to your own place under your own power! Bug out vehicles brings to my mind as something one might want to Drop Out in but for me it would be a GBH vehicle (get back home). You back in Cali? Love your channel!
i hope you didn't move back to california. i loved living there, hate the logistics, and they are just getting worse. good luck, wherever you are. wanna get that bike for my daughter.

If you don't weight 180 to 200 pounds you can easily get better milage than is specified. I figure even carrying the power station solar and my gear I would weigh less than their average adult... sometimes it is good to be verticality challenged and female..
quite a few SUV's / beaver tails have removable rear seats, plenty of usable space for dogs, hauling stuff and plenty pf space to sleep if you can't be bothered with a tent. those dawgs though.
@@oldbloke204 ok so a lot of new cars are basically computers with gas powered engines. So if I’m going to be driving a computer. That is subject to its own set of problems. Then I might as well see to it that it’s powered by electricity. Electricity might still be up I some areas. Also gas would become a guarded resource. Also it probably takes gas pumps some electricity to operate themselves anyway. Also I want the ability to turn the ac on in the summer. Then take my breaks in a air conditioned cab.

I have my lifted Jeep and my Honda Fit winter beater. I sometimes think my Honda is the better bugout vehicle as one tank of gas will go so much farther than the Jeep ever will. Even with my 3 20L NATO jerry cans , the Jeep ain’t going no where near where those 3 jerries will take my Honda. Especially running it for heat in the freezing.

Why the mask when outside in the fresh air ?
I’m pretty sure it was for dust and/ or wind.
Dust and bugs can be brutal while biking, especially in drier climates.
