Just use two parts vanilla CR and one part orange Bacardi to make an Orange Drunkcicle. If you want to be fancy, take an orange slice and rub it around the rim and drop it in the drink for aesthetics. You're welcome.

They also should have tried the Crown Royal Northern harvest Rye. It won the 2016 World Whiskey of the year from renowned whiskey writer Jim Murray. TBH I could sit down and chill and have the greatest hangout with Darren. He spot on called all the high aged whisky in previous tries. This guy is my favorite of all the food channel.

Darren, way back in my day, 60's and 70's, Avon made wonderful aftershave bottles like the Crown. I hear they're collector's items now. More to the point, Crown Royal Northern Rye and Maple are my favorites!
When I was young those bottles used to come with a purple felt type well made little pouch that had crown royal written in gold lettering on it with gold ties that contained a free shot bottle. I still have one :)
So impressed by @thatonewhosings (Grainne) - that mint note she picked up from the OG CR is coming from the rye whisky in the blend. I'm so surprised @darrenlalor (Darren) liked this whisky and didn't mention the mint notes. As a Canadian, I'd like to apologize for our whiskey - it's just not that great. The Irish and Scots do it much, much better. We make GREAT wine though !

You add tons of sliced peaches and some basil or mint leaves to the glass, with soda water to top it off, and that will knock your socks off on a hot patio afternoon. The difficulty is, they make them as a seasonal release, so you have to buy them early while they're still in stock.
Can’t go wrong with crown royal apple with a splash of cranberry juice.
As a Canadian, the best Crown Royal that only come out at Christmas time is the Crown Royal Salted Carmel. Second best is definitely the Apple. They also should have tried the Crown Royal Northern harvest Rye. It won the 2016 World Whiskey of the year from renowned whiskey writer Jim Murray. Also agree the bottle needed to come in the iconic purple bag!
The ladies appear to be getting ready for a night out , they are quite beautiful today , especially Nicole .
Crown is probably my second favorite alcohol. It's so smooth and mixes great.
I live about 2 hours from where it's made.....it's what we all start drinking when we turn 18....
TBH I could sit down and chill and have the greatest hangout with Darren. He spot on called all the high aged whisky in previous tries. This guy is my favorite of all the food channel.
You could have mixed the apple and vanilla together and seen how that tasted. I think the team missed out by not sampling the Peach.
Crown Royal, made a couple hours from where I live. Great to see you folks like it.
A friend who is a criminal defense attorney once said "At this point, cops might as well just list a Crown Royal bag as probable cause for a drugs search."
😅
High school me can relate 😅 thankfully pots legal in Canada now 👍
@@Shitballs69420 lucky you! I’m jealous
They would be disappointed to find scrabble pieces or DnD dice sets in the Crown Royal bag most of the time.
@@paulmolloy7206 Hey that use to be half the fun, kept it exciting 😜🤙
Canadian here, love the Irish accent, fell in love with Ireland through Joyce's Dubliners, hope to visit someday.
4:53 put a couple of cinnamon sticks in the bottle for a day and the apple whiskey becomes apple cinnamon. A total game changer, so good
I always smile when my Irish friends come to visit.
Too bad they didn’t get to try some of the more expensive ones
Cask 16 is my all-time favorite.....ever.
Darren, way back in my day, 60's and 70's, Avon made wonderful aftershave bottles like the Crown. I hear they're collector's items now. More to the point, Crown Royal Northern Rye and Maple are my favorites!
Should have served the Northern Harvest Rye
This.
I read the comments only to find someone saying this. It is the only "good" Crown Royal (yes, I'm Canadian)
Agree 100%. This one is the best. A true rye, not a blend.
When I was young those bottles used to come with a purple felt type well made little pouch that had crown royal written in gold lettering on it with gold ties that contained a free shot bottle. I still have one :)
I'm the first viewer.... life goal achieved. 😂
Keep up the terrific reviews team.
Loving all you do all the way from New Zealand.
I'm gonna have to second this. Not great at all. But the ice wine! Now you're talking!
Crown apple and cranberry juice is a great cocktail that’s a classic for crown
They normally come in a velvet like sack too
for the last 50 yrs its been a cheap purple flannel bag at best, I habe about 8 of them LOL!
That's what she said. Sorry, I had to! lol
@@fljotavik111 😂
I tried the apple flavor and peach crown royal recently. They are dangerously smooth and tasty!
Lena has the outer shell of a good girl, but the inside she is 100% naughty and it escapes accidentally. Love it!
Crown Royal is smooth. Even smoother when you leave it in the freezer for about 8 hours. That's the best way to drink it neat.
