The District X game had a really cool line where you Storm left on 3 into Mr Fantastic on 4. All cards then slide right, left is locked and you win it with Fanta. Also, not playing Forge on the Wong had me upset
I dodged an Alioth so hard earlier by playing Ghost Spider on my Kitty after making her fill the location for Bloodstone's +3, priority really is everything to that card
Thanks for this. In any game, there's always the easy ranks, and then the grind. I get so unmotivated by the grind. It's why I never hit Legend in HS, or Master in TFT, or Infinite in Snap... Till now. I played a version of this; I didn't have Mobius or Iron Lad, so I substituted Daredevil and Prof X. I was able to grind 90-100 in just a couple of hours. It was easy.
I feel like Aero was stronger as you you had to play her in either a lane you'd lose anyway, or a lane you'd win anyway. Alioth as to be played in the same location as the opponent in that turn. In some cases it'll be obvious, in others...nope. I'll say this: fuck Alioth up, but just bring back my boy Galactus. He's utterly shit now and that's because of Alioth existing.
He's for sure a worse version of pre-nerf Aero/Leader but for some reason he feels a million times worse to lose to than either of those ever did. At least Aero let me play cards still I guess, just not where I wanted them.

You know what Regis I watch Jeff because he whines about Galactus and i hate Galactus too, I watch Dekkster because he's entertaining and i watch you because you are both entertaining and make incredible decks. @deathstar9137 No that's your logic. There's no reason the effect couldn't be on reveal and apply later. Cloak does that. In a sense, Shuri, Iron Fist and Forge also do. But even if it wasn't on reveal, Cosmo is literally the only counter that's removed anyway. You could still do stuff like armor, iron heart, surfer, spider woman, Odin, destroy cards like Bucky, Wolverine or Nimrod, any other on-reveal cards, and proc Angela and Bishop, or even play your own Alioth.
"On Reveal: At the end of turn, Destroy ALL enemy cards played here this turn." Done. Keeps the spirit of the card as devouring everything played by the opponent that turn, but allows some more counter play and removes the immediate bad feeling.
Hey Regis, forgive me if this isn't the place to suggest stuff or anything, and double forgive me if this is something you have already covered, but I have been stealing games with a fun interaction between Magik and Snowguard Hawk. If you play Hawk on 6 with Limbo out, it will end the game that turn! This is telegraphed a bit because you obviously have to play snowguard first, but I've stolen a ton of cubes because my opponent is playing around a turn 7 when there just isn't one. It feels pretty nefarious and I have been loving it! It's a two card combo so it honestly fits pretty well in a lot of different decks, but I have been using it in an Elsa/Silver surfer go wide deck. It's been fun! I am interested to see what you would put the combo in if you were to use it!

Run rogue and steal theirs? You can also get Luke cage and other stuff. Honestly I have it and it’s helpful but not game changing for me. I would always choose Jeff or even iron lad over mobius if I was limited on tokens.
i tried mr. fantastic with alioth too and it just works. Mr F is the tempo king, play him into crossbones/drax/rescue and vision then pick your alioth lane lol. i was running a really spicy card tho, i had hawkeye for cards like nightcrawler jeff and vision

Man I feel like Guardians of the galaxy cards should get a buff. The condition you have to met is not easy and the reward is so small except for gamora. Drax, groot and the lower 2 is so weak.
i feel like all this fuss about alioth being toxic, game changing and what not is a little bit exaggerated. Hes not that strong guys lets be honest. He's good in what he does for sure. And yeah i get it he's been seen in almost every deck these days but i dont understand how some people cant counter alioth at all? Like its so weird to see people saying " Oh alioth is way too toxic, if opponent has alioth in their deck means you are losing that game, oh alioth is so annoying and he needs to be nerfed" Like.. Bruh its not that hard to counter alioth. Not for me atleast. Just get the god damn priority guys if u think the opponent could have an alioth. Like its insane how many people hate . I have won so many games against opponents alioth and have lost so many games with my own alioth. I genuinely don't understand this growing hate towards that card. Its every god damn time, as soon as a unique card comes in and that card seems a good amount of play.. There goes a whole f*king group of people asking for its nerf. Like so many cards have been useless just because some of these players cant find a counter? i get it, in these kinda games balance is needed. Alioth should return one card, the last one played, to your deck. This way, it limits how much it can sway a game. It retains some usability, seeing as it doesn't destroy a card but moves it to your deck. Making it able to avoid Armor's benefit. There are other cards out there that can avoid ongoing effects like Mysterio avoiding Cosmo's silence
Alioth is just the perfect storm (groan) of bad. An anti-fun card for the opponent, really strong so played in a lot of decks, and Series 5 thus pretty much pay-to-win.
