I never understood why a big strong person, either male or female, would want a two handed backhand. It's so awkward. It takes more time to set up and a one hander gives you much more resiliency. I especially think players like Roddick or Struff would have been much better players if they had a one backhander. Even Djokovic too. I know Djokovic has more titles and such against Federer but I still believe Federer, at his best, was the best player ever. And of course he has a one handed backhand. BTW, yours look pretty nice. It is a satisfying and beautiful shot.
Many copied Chris everts two handed backhand but what people don’t know is that she used her right hand to strike the backhand and placed the left hand for support only - she didn’t use the left hand to help push the ball like everyone who copied her . Originally she played with a wood racket at 8 yrs old . Today’s racketscweigh 4-6 lbs the wood Kramer weighed 16 pounds . She used her left hand to support the weight of the racket and let the heaviness of the racket with early preparation and long follow through and let the racket impart on the ball for power. That’s why she’s very consistant because her mobility is exceptional always hitting the ball out in front - contact pointvstays the same and turns her hips as she makes contact with the ball . That’s why net rushers couldn’t tell where she was going to hit the pass
My old wooden Jack Kramer Pro Staff is nowhere near 16 pounds. That's the same as a full size bowling ball! And my new Wilson racquet is less than two pounds. Check your scale. @@lenwelch2195
I like it! Simple, easy, and with practice. Thank you

its NOT a matter of practice.
