One of my favourite shows, unfortunately I couldn't make it over this year due to other commitments, but I was really impressed with the N-gauge layouts. Thanks for taking the time to film and feature them.

Thanks Dave for a superb visit to Perth. Which was my favourite layout? All of them. Everything seemed to be modelled to a very high standard, and so nice to see trains running at correct speeds...at last!!

A very interesting collection of exhibition layouts! I particularly liked seeing some whimsy and humor present on one of the layouts. Perhaps not in the best of taste for some, but it's nice to be reminded now and then not to take ourselves too seriously. Cheers from Wisconsin!
Hi, well said! It’s a hobby that’s suppose to be fun after all…the humour etc on that layout has people engaging with it, spending ages watching it, having a laugh and pointing things out to others. It was the perfect layout for an exhibition. I thought it was great :-) cheers. Dave
Superb layouts. Favourite would be Eli Wood, because it had everything. It's the sort of layout I aspire to make. But they were all brilliant.
Yeah Eli wood was a great exhibition layout…always something moving. Entertaining and so well designed and put together.
You captured a few things that I missed, but in my defence, I was looking for bits for my layout. It was good to have a chat with you as I have been using your layout as an inspiration for a lot of ideas. I was the man from the railway as a signalman, ticket examiner and station-master from Dingwall. I was looking forward to your blog from the exhibition. Thanks.

It was certainly an excellent show - first time I've ever had to queue after 11am to get in ! Heat though in the two halls was almost unbearable. The layouts were all to a high standard. I would have said hello to you on The Scoonie Hobbies stand but both times I past by the stand you were deep in conversation in trying to persude the individuals to part with thier cash 😅. cheers Euan
I persuaded one person to buy…me! Walked out with one of the locos I was suppose to be selling to other people 😆
This made me want to grow up and sell my extensive collection on ebay that I was going to do as a hobby when I retire.
Some nice layouts on show, but then again most layouts at shows are good quality and above. Do you not fancy trying your hand at an exhibition layout Dave?

@@DeanParki do love the older diesels though. Seemed to have more character in their chugging and clouds of smoke when they started up. 🤔
