I love that Wahlberg and Gibson are doing this type of movies together. They are 2 of my favorite actors. They are both very good men. 🥰
I agree.
I knew Fr. Stu personally. He was a man you cannot completely capture with words and he left an imprint on my life. From what I’ve seen, his essence was very well captured and I am very much looking forward to seeing the movie.
How awesome! ♥️
🤗💖☘️🌟🥰Hope you will be thrilled with it! Glad it will have even a more personal and special aspect to it for you!🕊️☘️💖
How awesome if he is canonized and becomes a saint. You will have been friends with a saint. Incredible.

Let us know how you viewed the movie. Ty, very interesting!
God Bless Gibson and Wahlberg!!! May God give them great success!!!
Thank you Mel and Mark for making an uplifting movie, such as this. The world today, is full of the horrible portrayal of the bad instead of more of the good and this is a breath of fresh air to us who wants to see good in life.
Yes, because we know WHO conquers Evil! 👍✝
Amen!! World is full of pain and terrible things happen to the best of people sometimes, yet the entertainment industry keeps cranking out "horror" genre movies....and they sell like crazy. I don't understand why people love watching "horror" for entertainment, as if there isn't enough real horror yet people want more of it to entertain themselves with their free time. I'm perplexed by this. I can stomach a horror movie....I just don't want to, especially knowing there's already too much "real" horror in the world. I am definetly going to watch this movie soon, I gotta good feeling this RUclips video was meant to find it's way to me tonight.
As a Christian this is a movie I’m actually looking forward to seeing. Hoping it won’t disappoint 🤞🏻
“People need to be reminded to have faith and hope. Love will endure .” 😭❤️✝️
Same here. High hopes
@@RFXCasey And then there's Mel.
@@RFXCasey You've literally missed the entire point of the movie. The movie is about a really shitty person becoming a better one. Becoming a man of the cloth. And you're pointing out shitty movies or behaviors in the PAST, like people can't become better or earn forgiveness. Your comment is the least Christian thing about this.
High hopes from satanic Hollywood ? Ok….
That’s illogical, Did you get the vax too?
Both great actors, and I support faith coming back... Haven't heard this tale of father Stu, but I look forward to these icons rendition of it!
Ok
I'm excited to see the movie. I haven't heard of Father Stu.
This sounds like a great movie to see; looking forward to it. Way to go Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg!
Yes Trump has falsely increased the value of his real estate to secure large loans and yes he deflated the costs to save taxes but that is not the real crime. Trump has his accountants figure the cost to build a project many millions more than the actual cost and when the lenders make the final payments Trump pockets the difference tax free. This puts a severe financial burden for a Trump property to overcome but Trump doesn't mind because if it goes into bankruptcy he already pocketed millions and doesn't have to pay it back. Example: Let’s say the cost to build the Taj Mahal is 900 million so Trumps accountants add an additional 100 million and make up fake payment dispersals to cover for the difference. Trump walks away with 100 million tax free and it is put in an off shore account. This is why Trump likes to build so many projects even though they lose money like golf courses. Trump inflates the cost of a golf course to skim off the difference. Trump uses the ill-gotten inflated construction costs to keep some projects afloat which is not much different than a Ponzi scheme. This explains why Trump takes so long to pay his bills, he only pays arrears when court stalling is exhausted and he has new money coming in to make required payments. Another example: Trump gets the lease to the hotel in DC. He takes out a 78 million renovation loan and pockets 30 million and uses the rest for renovations. Again if it goes under he doesn’t care because he made 30 million off of it. This is why Trump says he loves bankruptcy because he already made tens of millions and doesn’t have to pay it back.
I want to see this.
Sacrifice and suffering doesn't redeem us: forgiveness does.
I liked mark a lot
Definitely will go to the theater to watch and support this film.
I haven't been to see a movie in a theater in years...way before the pandemic. Nothing to see. But, the hubs and I will do a date night and see this... Happy Easter everyone!
Last two movies I paid to go see were about Saints. They were very inspiring to live a good life.
Happy Lent and easter to you and your family too. May the Lord Jesus protect us from evil and save our souls from eternal damnation. Amen.
Thank you Edie! 👍
Sacrifice and suffering doesn't redeem us: forgiveness does.
Oh c'mon there have been plenty to see, you're just lazy, and ignorant.
Actually looking forward to this movie. We need more stories of redemption like this

@@brittoncain5090 that was Jesus’ message but people seem to forget or ignore that. The Prodigal Son parable comes to mind. He is always willing to take us back. We should always be willing to fight our own personal failings but every time we fail He will be there waiting, ready to call for the fattened calf to celebrate.
I haven't paid a ticket to see a movie at the cinemas since about 2009, I plan to buy a ticket and see this film.
same!
Well worth the $ and time
I'm not a religious person but I'll watch anything with Mel Gibson & Mark Wahlberg in a heartbeat.
I believe, if I remember correctly, that Laura joined the Catholic Church as an adult & is quite devout.
Yeah i became a bigger fan of Mark when he made the statement several years ago that he doesn't believe actors should be pushing their political views on the country. I don't know where Gibson stands , because he wouldn't answer a simple question from Jessie Watters about what he thought about Will Smith slapping Chris!
Elvis said people don't like me because of my political views, they like me because I can sing.
Good advice to heed.
@@mikeg.9238 Well Mel was on Mel Gibson was on Pastor Greg Laurie's interview a while back a few years ago and he's proclaimed to be a strong born again Christian so hopefully that's true I mean every interview I've seen he's professed that just like Denzel Washington and others and that's great I'm a born again believer myself
I pray you find Jesus.
I pray you weren’t vaxxed. I’m not sure gmo human can be redeemed…..
We love Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg. I can't wait to see the movie. Thank you Larua for having them on.
I just saw this advertised. It looks really good. Great actors.

Sir M. Gibson nailed, "...he became his best through suffering..."

Mel will never get old! I hope he lives many more years and keeps producing and directing films until the end. He is a living legend, and I hope he takes the bull by the horns and does some epic biblical movies! Cuz lets be honest, nobody else has ever done biblical stories even remove justice until Mel picked up the torch! There's so many mind blowing stories in the Bible that can blow marvel out of the water if they were done right and produced well.
Looking forward to this. Hollywood needs to wake up and do these kind of films
They use to but that was last millennium.
Hollywood is infected with evil and won’t do content like this any more.
I'm actually excited to see a movie for once.
after Mel Gibson did the Passion of the Christ i couldnt stop watching his movies

Making a really good faith based movie is quite difficult for a number of reasons, but this one seems to have a lot of promise! I’m certainly looking forward to seeing it!
It's very difficult to make a faith based movie without it being corny and badly acted. To make a film that glorifies God and is still entertaining.......that's a skill and a half

@@RFXCasey let me see if I understand you correctly…
you are saying that people, who at one time or another sinned can’t be forgiven, redeemed and delivered????
Interesting! Based on the stones you cast, we are all “doomed” and not worthy of inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven or to be called children of God
May I suggest you work on removing that plank from your eye.
They never said GOD. Never said his name. Not one time.
@@RFXCasey so what? He was also in Boogie Nights. What's your point?

Actually, they never mentioned God. Or Jesus. If they did, Fox edited it out.

When life is good, you don't learn a thing. When life is difficult, that is when you learn. You either crush it, or get crushed by it. I know this from my own life experience. My advice to people is, be an observer. Don't get drawn in. Politicians and MSM, try to draw people in, which creates negative emotions. Emotions like hatred, frustration and anger. This is no accident. Their goal is to divide people. Be an observer. If you allow yourselves to be drawn in, it prevents you from seeing clearly.

Always had much respect for Mel Gibson. He is one who has always spoke out about child trafficking
And he did the movie Passion of the Christ. Hollywood black balled him for it. It's not about religion or denomination. It's all about YOUR love for Jesus & Your FAITH WALK WITH HIM! We make it so hard. Blessings!
I heard he's an anti-semite though, that's the only thing.
People can change their whole perspective on life over a matter of years that won’t even reflect what they used to be, but instead how everything they touch, do, or say helps them grow into a compassionate person in later years when we realize how our “timestamp” is so short and how we need to make it better for all humankind. @@yolandasparks2507 Yes! Passion was awesome!! I cried all the way though and then later when ever i think about the movie! And when he was being caned at the post, they missed their marks a couple of times and actually struck his back with the canes? Some of the cry outs were actually him in pain... not acting? The part that hit hardest for me was when the man spoke to him in the bar, the accident happened afterward, he sees the Virgin Mary, makes a miraculous recovery, and then returns to the bar asking who that man was. It was at that point that a shiver ran through my body as I looked at the crucifix in my living room and realized who it was or at least who sent him. It spoke to me. It reminded me that he takes many forms. God doesn't speak directly to us, he's more subtle than that.
