The Zilo beast episode from the clone wars cartoons is probably one of the best Godzilla experience I've ever had what a great episode . The way it instinctively knew Palpatine was a threat and went after him.

That is a very interesting scenario, but still I think Palpatine would've sensed this impeding threat and yes, he could have been killed, but probably not this way. He could've died in the shuttle crash after Zillo damaged the vehicle or threw it at extreme velocity. Nevertheless, the ending is what I completely agree with. Without Palpatine, the Republic and CIS would quickly come to peace, and maybe even unite again at some point, which is debatable, but possible. *Also, here's another idea related to Early Clone Wars: What if Cad Bane assasinated all the senators he captured in that last episode of Season 1? WHAT IF: a good chunk (lets say 1/4 to 1/3) of the jedi joined Dooku and the separatist in the early stages of the war. Dooku wasn't a full blown sith and he (and the CIS) did have valid political reasons for fighting against the republic. In attack of the clones he tried to get Obi-Wan to join. What if he sent a galaxy wide recording explaining why he's fighting against the republic and a lot of disgruntled/CIS sympathiziers joined Dooku. Unintentionally forming an opposing "jedi order" that fought for the separatists.

After posting the other comment I posted on this video I had a what if idea. What if more systems followed Mandalore? I don't mean joining Mandalore and Duchess Satine, I mean followed their example. What if the threat of galactic war caused more systems to withdrew from the republic and the separatists? Essentially more and more systems decide they do not get fair representation within the republic and the separatist systems decide there is more profit in going their own way fracturing the entire galaxy and each system governed itself and made it's own trade treaties. I admit this is an out there theory and it would be tricky to do, but that is the whole point of these what if's. That is not to say a new system of governance could not be established, but with equal representation. In canon multiple systems had only 1 senator and that senator would often focus on the interests of their home world. This idea could go so many different ways and really eff up Palpatine's plans and change everything about how the clone wars would have gone.
1. a New Chancellor gets elected likely Organa they might push for a peace but Dooku and The CIS council (the corporations) would continue a form of Palpatines plan after all Dooku knew about Order 66 and could still prolong the war until long enough then try and execute order 66
2. I think The Jedi would discover order 66 and in secret remove all of the inhibitor chips from the Clones and just to be safe the Jedi would recommend to the Senate to start Civilian recruitment which would close the gap between the Republic and CIS much faster than just using clones alone.
First thing is first Dooku would have to fill in his master's shoes and since Assajj is still around during this time she would remain by his side and have more responsibility.
What if General Grievous had killed Palpatine during his kidnapping plot? It was a big joke for Palpatine, but Grievous didn't know that. What would have happened if Palpatine lost that gamble and he'd died a Grievous' hands?
The Separatists would have seen it as a great victory, not knowing that Palpatine was Sidious. Only Dooku knew the truth. Seeing Palpatine's vision come crashing down, he would pursue his own goal, as leader of the CIS to seize victory. He would, if he could initiate order 66 in order to throw the Republic forces into chaos when they were at their weakest. The Separatists win and the Republic is conquered.
The Zillo Beast was able to determine Palpatine was the Sith Lord in the span of 5 minutes while it took Anakin half of an entire movie to find this out.
There is one major plot hole, or rather 2 1. With the cease fire, saying that all troops must stop the fighting until a deal is struck, there is no way that leaders like Trench, Dooku and especially Grievous would never stop their assualts 2. Even with Palpatine dead, there would be nothing stopping Dooku from assassinating Mina like he had done in the show With those 2 things put together there is no way that this theory doesnt fall apart very quickly, as with Palpatine dead there would be nothing holding the CIS back
I love seeing politics framed through the lense of Star Wars. It's a very good way to showcase things with less of the ideological bias created by the propaganda of Earth nations.
Admittedly the two sides would agree to peace, it wouldn’t end that quickly. Dooku is still a Sith Lord. Now that he’s the Master, he’s need to secure an apprentice. He also has the Sith Eternal cult at his beck and call. There would be another war years later.

I’m pretty sure he reads all of most of the comments, but give him credit because he’s got a busy schedule. If you did it a few weeks ago, I’d predict he might announce it in couple of months maybe (very rough guess). He’s got plans of other things he wants to do, so just because it’s been a few months, that doesn’t mean he won’t do your idea at all. I’m pretty sure I saw someone recommended this idea (zilo beast) a few months ago as well, and we’ve got it now.

What if Count Dooku was the chosen one. We learned so much about Dooku in tales of the Jedi and I bet we all want to see Dooku being the chosen one.

WHAT IF: a good chunk (lets say 1/4 to 1/3) of the jedi joined Dooku and the separatist in the early stages of the war. Dooku wasn't a full blown sith and he (and the CIS) did have valid political reasons for fighting against the republic. In attack of the clones he tried to get Obi-Wan to join. What if he sent a galaxy wide recording explaining why he's fighting against the republic and a lot of disgruntled/CIS sympathiziers joined Dooku. Unintentionally forming an opposing "jedi order" that fought for the separatists.

After posting the other comment I posted on this video I had a what if idea. What if more systems followed Mandalore? I don't mean joining Mandalore and Duchess Satine, I mean followed their example. What if the threat of galactic war caused more systems to withdrew from the republic and the separatists? Essentially more and more systems decide they do not get fair representation within the republic and the separatist systems decide there is more profit in going their own way fracturing the entire galaxy and each system governed itself and made it's own trade treaties. I admit this is an out there theory and it would be tricky to do, but that is the whole point of these what if's. That is not to say a new system of governance could not be established, but with equal representation. In canon multiple systems had only 1 senator and that senator would often focus on the interests of their home world. This idea could go so many different ways and really eff up Palpatine's plans and change everything about how the clone wars would have gone.
Sadly one of the few moments of mass carnage that could have prevented an even bigger case of mass carnage.

1. a New Chancellor gets elected likely Organa they might push for a peace but Dooku and The CIS council (the corporations) would continue a form of Palpatines plan after all Dooku knew about Order 66 and could still prolong the war until long enough then try and execute order 66
2. I think The Jedi would discover order 66 and in secret remove all of the inhibitor chips from the Clones and just to be safe the Jedi would recommend to the Senate to start Civilian recruitment which would close the gap between the Republic and CIS much faster than just using clones alone.

What if General Grievous had killed Palpatine during his kidnapping plot? It was a big joke for Palpatine, but Grievous didn't know that. What would have happened if Palpatine lost that gamble and he'd died a Grievous' hands?
The Separatists would have seen it as a great victory, not knowing that Palpatine was Sidious. Only Dooku knew the truth. Seeing Palpatine's vision come crashing down, he would pursue his own goal, as leader of the CIS to seize victory. He would, if he could initiate order 66 in order to throw the Republic forces into chaos when they were at their weakest. The Separatists win and the Republic is conquered.
Anakin wasn't the Chosen One, it was the Zilo Beast.
The Zillo Beast was able to determine Palpatine was the Sith Lord in the span of 5 minutes while it took Anakin half of an entire movie to find this out.

What If obiwan captured general grievos insted of killing
There is one major plot hole, or rather 2
1. With the cease fire, saying that all troops must stop the fighting until a deal is struck, there is no way that leaders like Trench, Dooku and especially Grievous would never stop their assualts
2. Even with Palpatine dead, there would be nothing stopping Dooku from assassinating Mina like he had done in the show
With those 2 things put together there is no way that this theory doesnt fall apart very quickly, as with Palpatine dead there would be nothing holding the CIS back

I’m pretty sure he reads all of most of the comments, but give him credit because he’s got a busy schedule. If you did it a few weeks ago, I’d predict he might announce it in couple of months maybe (very rough guess). He’s got plans of other things he wants to do, so just because it’s been a few months, that doesn’t mean he won’t do your idea at all. I’m pretty sure I saw someone recommended this idea (zilo beast) a few months ago as well, and we’ve got it now.
