Arkona has been putting out some of the best folk metal in recent years, cant find a bad tune in their catalogue, well worth discovering even if you dont speak russian. I don't and I still enjoy them everytime I listen :)

masha is one of the pioneers of female growling alongside Angela from Arch Enemy
One of my favorite bands of all time. I have two suggestions: first, listen to the full song. Not sure who made the decision, but the music video doesn't play the whole song for whatever reason. Second, try to see them live. Some of the most fun I've ever had.
I just realized I was 5 years old and I listened to this kind of music.
Arkona and Masha are just great, and awesome band. Otherreally good songs are Na moey zemle and Yarilo. Also, this is the short version of goi rode goi

Napalm is a pretty great guarantee to get/ find great (metal) music.....and defenetly you have to get more Arkona.....Slava, Yarilio are two extreme cool songs.......(And funfact: I was born pretty close to Arkona, the Place the Band named itself after *g )
