I've had that exact same problem with using dark side when fighting chronos. I get so used to anything that slows or stops time that it messes me up when I'm using those things against him. The opportunities that opens for me vanishes with his mere presence.
I remember losing a run prior to the most recent patch because I tried to squeeze in the ring move Dark Side has before it expired and I couldn't attack after. Looks like it might be fixed now since it's in the patch notes, but that was a slightly tilting experience.
@@TheLizWizard huh, never had that one. for me the issue with it was if you had a launched cast, it'd bug out and not let you cast for the rest of the room. you can imagine that sucks for bosses. one time I did have it bug out like that in a funny way though, where I could spam my cast as fast as I could press, for as long as Darksided lasted. it let me shred the last floor.

Yeah, you can’t use your hexes point blank in front of the final boss. Unlike with other enemies, time doesn’t slow down when you charge up. You need to use them in the corner of the room.
Working on 20 Vows/Fear as I watch this. Unlocked the first of Skelly's 3 statues; its +10 Vows up and + 10 Vows down per statue it seems (since 30 is max(for now?).
Vows/Fear is Heat, and it gets pretty damn hard. I wonder if it'll be like Hades 1 later on, where the 3rd statue unlocks at 32 Heat, but the max is 64(?)
Its still 8/16/32, just need to finish individual top and bottom runs at that fear for the statue. Max fear is 55 for now.
@@ElSuperNova23 I think it's possible that they'll introduce new vows, so both the max fear will go up, and there could be more ways to reach enough fear for the statues.

I'm curious why lyrics don't come up on screen for the band's battle.. I've seen other playthroughs where the subtitles are on during that and Vinny has subtitles on for everything else 🤔
The whole Deli/convenience store thing must be a Staten Island thing, because I also live in New York (Astoria, then Flushing, and now Bellmore) and we don't call all of them Deli's... because they're not all Deli's. If it's both, then yeah, sure, but if it's just a convenience store, then it's a convenience store.

I got (what now feels) VERY lucky that I was able to see Queen (my favorite band), The Rolling Stones, and The Who in 2017-2019 each for $100-$125 per ticket. And the seats weren't *amazing* but they were down in the main area, and they were fairly decent (Queen was close enough to see their faces when they were out on the catwalk, The Who was by the mixing board, and the Stones was towards the back of the field). I now feel like we got a pretty decent price-to-seat-loctation ratio compared to what ticket prices are like nowadays, and those were the three that I had really wanted to see the most.
They should probably patch "Soft Caress" getting activated while you're invincible

Vinny is one of those people who can talk about orange juice during a run and it would make complete and total sense (and yes I understand the "fresh vs bottled" thing, they add some weird shit in the bottled stuff to make it "taste better")
