- Here's my new video - this time about John Porter. I chose the saddest and painful parts of John's journey in the show 'cause this music (from "The Leftovers") makes me feel melancholic, though it's such a beautiful theme. So I thought about all that Porter had to face and here we are. Hope you like it, let me know in the comments!

I love Richard Armitage. He’s great in the series, “NORTH AND SOUTH”, not about the USA “NORTH AND SOUTH” but in England. A real handsome heart breaker. ♥️♥️🥰🥰🇺🇸🇺🇸
A truly beautiful video! Thank you!! You really captured the essence of John Porter. One of my favourite RA characters. I thought he was superb in this role. So much emotion. I still flinch when I see the bits where I know they are about to shoot him in the head. I'll never forget when I saw that scene the first time. It will stay in my memory for ever. :( I still don't know why they couldn't have written him out of the show some other way. Broke my heart.

@@miashaw1599 I've just bought the DVDs from Amazon UK (series 1&2 together, though he's only in ep1 of series 2 /£10)...am about to watch NOW.. literally NOW..it arrived this morning AND has interviews!!
