They would not be exempt from any part of training. They would be required to complete all aspects. I am confused about the second question. Can you please reword it? If you enlist you would not be a civilian member. Are you looking to join or want to look at civilian careers? It all depends on what the waiver is for as to whether or not you would qualify. Jordan, Unfortunately, this is a (potentially) medically disqualifying condition. If you have been diagnosed by a doctor as having ADD/ADHD, you must meet the following requirements in order to apply: - Must be off medication for a minimum of 15 months. (You must be removed off of the medication by a doctor and it is written in your medical records. An applicant cannot just stop taking prescribed medications on their own.) - You must have a current note from primary care provider validating stable status with condition, must summarize the diagnosis, history of treatment, and should rule out any residual of ADD/ADHD - Need pharmacy records for past 5 years on pharmacy letterhead with date range annotated - Show evidence of successful academic and work endeavors while off medication - Show evidence that applicant was not provided classroom aids such as private study area, special tutors, additional time to complete assignments or tests. Candidates who do not meet the standard of never having taken more than a single daily dosage of medication or not having been prescribed medication for their condition for more than 24 cumulative months after the age of 14 will be processed for a waiver if they have demonstrated at least 15 months of performance stability (academic or vocational) off medication. We do not have any approval rates on waivers. Each person's background and medical history may vary. The Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) doctor makes that determination. Best bet is to bring your medical documentation to recruiter for them to send to MEPS for a review and see what MEPS says before they can approve you to go there for enlistment physical. Expect one or two of these outcomes to happen in the end: 1). A Go on the medical documentation, applicant can come to MEPS for physical, eligible for enlistment/waiver is possible, 2). No Go on documentation, no MEPS appointment for physical needed, not eligible for enlistment or medical waiver, or 3). Need More Documentation. Good luck. Understand I am not a recruiter or MEPS doctor. This is speaking from experiencing it myself: I had to go through this preliminary medical review process and MEPS with my recruiter to join the Army National Guard. I had to get a medical waiver for nearsightedness in the end outcome.

Bryan, The Air Force normally selects prior service applicants with an Honorable Discharge and a reentry code (RE code) of 1 on their DD 214. Applicants are considered on a best-to-least qualified basis for the limited Prior Service slots. Um…I wouldn’t get my hopes up if I were you…I’m sorry to say this…but to save you from being disappointed in the end, I will go ahead and say this to keep your eyes open: RE-4 codes from prior service, especially for THC or other substances, is usually not considered for a moral waiver to get back into the military. I’m sorry. But hey, this is not a substitute of seeing an Air Force recruiter near you as I am not an Air Force recruiter or MEPS personnel. So I would still recommend still seeing a recruiter. However, do not be surprised if they tell you something similar to what I just said. At least you’ll know you tried even if it is unfortunately a No in the end, sadly. Good luck.

That we do not know: The CMO (Chief Medical Officer) at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) will review your medical condition. If the CMO disqualifies you, then your medical records might be forwarded to the SG (Surgeon General) for a medical waiver review depending on the medical condition. If the SG approves a medical waiver then you will be allowed to join, but you may be limited on some careers. If the SG disapproves your waiver request then you physically do not meet the physical standards based on your previous/current medical conditions to join the Air Force. Vision will be evaluated. Color vision is required There are many possible paths you can take in pursuit of earning your wings. You could choose to get your degree on your own and apply for your commission following graduation. I am confused about the second question. Can you please reword it? If you enlist you would not be a civilian member. Are you looking to join or want to look at civilian careers?
It all depends on what the waiver is for as to whether or not you would qualify. Each branch may have different qualifications.

Bubbafett, Unfortunately, this could potentially be medically disqualifying. However, the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) doctor (not the recruiter) makes that determination if you are medically qualified to join and any career limitations. You will need to gather your medical/pharmacy records for this condition and provide them to your recruiter. Then your local recruiter can have your medical records for this condition prescreened by the doctor at MEPS for a preliminary ruling in your particular situation. Please contact a recruiter for more details.

Jordan, Unfortunately, this is a (potentially) medically disqualifying condition. If you have been diagnosed by a doctor as having ADD/ADHD, you must meet the following requirements in order to apply:
- Must be off medication for a minimum of 15 months. (You must be removed off of the medication by a doctor and it is written in your medical records. An applicant cannot just stop taking prescribed medications on their own.)
- You must have a current note from primary care provider validating stable status with condition, must summarize the diagnosis, history of treatment, and should rule out any residual of ADD/ADHD
- Need pharmacy records for past 5 years on pharmacy letterhead with date range annotated
- Show evidence of successful academic and work endeavors while off medication
- Show evidence that applicant was not provided classroom aids such as private study area, special tutors, additional time to complete assignments or tests.
Hello. Any input on vitamin deficiency waivers? Is there a rate approval rate on these?
We do not have any approval rates on waivers. Each person's background and medical history may vary. The Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) doctor makes that determination. Your local recruiter can have your medical records for this condition prescreened by the doctor at MEPS for a preliminary ruling in your situation. During the screening process, all applicants are asked in-depth questions about their medical history. Just like other medical matters such as broken bones or asthma, we would request medical paperwork for the CMO to review for a determination.

In addition to the ring tattoo, a single tattoo is authorized on each hand; the tattoo will not exceed the size of 1-inch measured in any direction. Recruits are authorized one single band ring tattoo and one additional tattoo that is not a ring tattoo, per hand, for a maximum total of two tattoos per hand. What's the chances a 32 year old pursuing his Private Pilots license. 35 College credit hours being able to get in the Air Force as a pilot. I heard with 90 credit hours it's possible? With some creativity hard work and good luck is it possible?
General requirements to be a pilot:
US citizen
Applicants who are under the age of 33 and/or have less than 8 years of total federal commissioned service (TFCS) may apply in order to complete medical flight screening (MFS).
4 year college degree with at least a 2.5 GPA
Height specifications vary by aircraft and most applicants can successfully pursue a career in aviation with the US Air Force. Applicants who are significantly taller or shorter than average may require special screening to ensure they can safely perform operational duties. Applicants of all heights are encouraged to apply.
Vision will be evaluated.
Color vision is required
There are many possible paths you can take in pursuit of earning your wings. You could choose to get your degree on your own and apply for your commission following graduation. Or, you could choose to come on to active duty and let the Air Force pay up to 100% of your college tuition (effective 1 Oct 2002). You could gain valuable Air Force experience while getting your degree. Once you have obtained your degree, you may apply for your commission to be selected to become a pilot.

All heads look defeated and we see four horns and the 4th horn looks like Rhonda Blasphemy Cannibal.
They are saying Rhonda's my rib but I never married her unless she conned me as a kid or as a mask wearing disguise.
I'm not gay. It was a joke me. I'm straight female, man.
David Begler and his mother and sister stole my identities and the Book of Daniel knew when. The cake rack in Daniel proved it was Linda Canterbury who did it. I am Daniel who is the image of Daniel who has a golden head, and iron, and clay and whatnot as it said, and that is because in Knoxville I fell off a cliff or was pushed and fell a long way down to break my legs and I had to mold myself and fashion myself or I wouldn't heal. I'm a doctor of God. I got clay that is Holy and I can fashion metal as a potter. I can create man that way.
I am FCC Chairman. I know more than you know.

These women believe they are kings and that I am Queen James I which might be no lie because of the Roman Papal hat, which when I was a kid led to me to be a Queen crown.
I know the truth.
I can't make no music as Debra Bon Fire. I can't make no art. That means I'm here burning the trees soon.
I'm an Angel of what?
Don't tread on me, women. I'm a US Marine.
