Remember in the old internet days when "You've got mail" brought a smile to your face and eager anticipation to what was in it? Thats what I get when I see a new video from the Michelangelo of restorations......
My father was a welder and a blacksmith. He worked with machinists. I spent a lot years around these people. Your techniques are really good. i never see anything that seems wrong in your videos. You do everything just as it is supposed to be done. I think my father would have liked restoring things with you. People that know how this kind of work should be done, know you do it very well.
I’ve read a lot of comments but yours really honors me! Thanks for your honest words and I would love to have a cold one with you and your dad! Thanks! Really motivating! ❤️
Your attention to the details is unique (like centering the hole). It makes your channel stand out from others on RUclips. Congratulations on your work. Keep your dedication on projects as high as you always do. Cheers from Brazil!
Thank you again for shielding the welding. It’s always fascinating to me when old technology is restored. I love the gold paint, and the new brass bushings are simply beautiful. I like the nickel plating, too.
You would like the movie The Green Butchers. Quote: "... there's something mythological about killing an animal, and then mocking it by stuffing it into its own bowl. Could You imagine anything more humiliating than being stuffed up Your own arse?"
What amazes me most is the way you handle your subject in meticulous , full of care showing a great workmanship and passion for giving a second life to whatever you hold❤❤❤❤
Still the best, top-of-the-line, most fascinating, most COMPLETE(!), and most enjoyable of ALL the restoration video producers. It's truly a joy to watch someone work so meticulously and with such GREAT(!) care for quality, it's like watching a great artist at work. Thank you Kai!
Beautiful restoration job. You even made new bushings for the holes that were worn and welded new metal to the broken gear teeth on the pinion rack. You also made a new tube for the stuffing end. It looks much better and it works like a charm too. Excellent work.
Wow! That turned out way better than I expected! I've seen a fair number of restorations of older machines that kinda leave them in a more rustic finish so this is a real nice change of pace!
imo, this is one of your best resto's. You are in command the whole time, make it look easy, do some good repairs with your stick welder, and the finished product FUNCTIONS! :D Love it
I always enjoy your videos. You are fastidious in your execution so that the finished item looks like it has come off the shop shelf (better I think). I could taste and smell those sausages all the way from Australia! Fantastic job. 🤗🇦🇺
Nice job on your bratwurst. Those looked delicious. The restoration of the sausage stuffer was really interesting to watch. You take such care with each part. It should last 100 years.
Love antiques. It is from where modern machineries came to exist and love when restored to their former glory meticulously in such way without altering their parts❤❤❤❤❤
WOW......Incredible restoration! He's such an expert using a file. Most young people today have absolutely no idea what a file is or how to use one. Uh, There is no such thing as food grade Aluminum. Thanks Mister Patina for a terrific video.
This man is a genius, I can't think of another term more fitting. And his patience and attention to detail are beyond imagination. Another superb restoration.
Another great restoration, thank you. In English, the process of moving the lathe cutter across the surface of the piece to clean and level it is called 'skimming'. A nice Old Norse word! Best wishes from Manchester UK - where this excellent sausage stuffing machine was made!
Well M.P. you've created a hi performance sausage stuffer, ready to stuff sausages for another hundred years... Well done my friend... Turned out beautiful...
sauteed onion seasoned with salt pepper in pan, steamed apple and pear, bread, your delicious sausage and a room temperature stout. I enjoyed this video.
I think we have a missed opportunity to see how abrasive dead spiders are :D Thanks for another amazing video! it's always a pleasure to watch your artistry
My friend, I never thought I'd call a sausage stuffer beautiful, but that's just what this is - beautiful! Well done, both on the restoration and the bratwurst!
That was amazing. And seeing it all restored and spiffed up made me imagine what it was like back when it was new, being used by some butcher making sausages for the shoppers... Living history at its finest.
Maestro!!!! Simplemente perfecto aprecio especialmente su atención al detalle y el proceso minucioso de utilización de todos los elementos y herramientas correctas y adecuadas mejorando incluso el original. FELICITACIONES!!! CALIFICACIÓN: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Nothing makes a restoration better than homemade bratwurst. The brass bushings really made this thing pop. Very nice video and work. How about an old-school sewing machine with a table? Apologies if you have been there, done that, and I missed it.
What should I restore next? Tell me what you want to see!
Oh and make sure to hit the like & subscribe if you enjoyed 🙂
A vintage meat grinder or a vintage ice shaver machine
A Grease Gun. This time the fun one ;)
A sextant would be so great to see; but I guess this would cost to much even if it’s used and old 😅
Aratro
@misterpatina - tools wrenches you never know a small lathe could come your way needing a refresh
Another exceptional restoration. No corners cut. No "fake" restoration stuff. Just solid hard work and attention to detail. Nicely done, as always!
Thanks! I really appreciate!

That was nicely done, especially fixing the broken screw and making the brass bushings.
Thank you again for shielding the welding. It’s always fascinating to me when old technology is restored. I love the gold paint, and the new brass bushings are simply beautiful. I like the nickel plating, too.
The guy who inveted the wurst: 'Lets shred that beast and force press it into his own intestine' Genius and madman at the same time.
You would like the movie The Green Butchers.

Haha, thanks!
This was a beautifully executed restoration MP.
Thanks!
my family uses a sausage stuffer from roughly the same era.. i think it has a date like 1912 or 1915 somewhere around there.. works great.
Does your use the leather gasket/seal too? If so, does the meat leak past the seal or not? Thanks!
Was für eine geile Arbeit. Ich möchte nicht wissen was so ne Restaurierung kostet. Deine Videos sind super. LG Sascha
Danke dir - unbezahlbar 😅
Grüße
Kai
@@misterpatina ohne scheiß...verkaufst du deine restaurieren sachen?
"I don't have a leather punch"
_has lathe, makes effectively a punch, puts it in the handle_
