Not sure if I'll get. Reply but I have a 2006 300c im trying to add a JBL amp and sub combo to. My JBL setup came with a LOC wire Soni didn't need to install the secondary box for that just spliced into the trunk speakers and plugged it in. Turn the car to acc or ON and radio runs fine while the engines running it cuts in and out. Im assuming it's because I haven't done a bypass on the Boston acoustics system or maybe there both working and drawing to much power??? Either way lots of issues here im a fucking newb and need help haha 🤣
I got an 05 300c i got one of those stereos made specifically for our car plug n play i have power at amp but no sound any idea what could be my issue ?
So your harness was compatible from the head unit you installed ? What is the radio you installed and what is the actual harness from the car called or does it come with the head unit if so what is it called
@@jaredsousa5500so what he’s saying is if you have a aftermarket head unit on the cars side of the harness you have to wire up your front speakers to the aftermarket radio rear speakers while still keeping them connected to the rear speaker wires on the car but what I did is I bought 16 gauge wire pulled my radio and glove box and my drivers side kick panel and then connected my aftermarket speakers directly to my new head unit and got great sound from them but I ran into the issue the rest of my speakers still using the factory amp are very quite until max vol on my head unit so I’m not sure if my amp is bad or I got something else wrong
When you buy the aftermarket stereo or harness connections it will come with a wiring diagram long as you connect every to the same wires you’ll be good only thing it don’t talk about is the remote wire and you never cut the original harness to the car

Did you retain your steering wheel controls??
Did you have to wire your front outputs to the rear inputs? I have the amp wires connected, I have power, but still no sound.
Did you ever figure this out???
Same
If you have a factory amplifier, you need to wire your front speakers of your headunit to the rear outputs of the harness
