We were having such a good conversation that I forgot to even look in them. I got very lucky.
You're the first picker that brought up the "Dreamcast" I loved the picture on those games for that. I thought the color was really good for the time.
I didn't have one when they first released it. It was overall considered a bust. I found it later on in life and it is great. Now I try to find games any time I can.

A dry erase marker removes permanent marker. Just color over the letters and then wipe off with a damp cloth. Repeat until it's all removed 😊
Did you know that owl statues in the yard help to keep noisy or pesky birds away. They are scared of owls. 😊

Dang Daytona was the moniest title among the dreamcast games.
Unfortunately, none of the games were actually in the disc. Ugh
I had a feeling the cases were going to be empty after that one was empty when you first started going through the box. Crazy taxi was a great game. Used to play it and tony hawk on dreamcast.
Crazy taxi was such a good and unique game. I loved it back in the day.

You missed out that pool cue next to the drum set appeared to be a Meucci brand cue which would get you at least $300-$400 😉
I looked at it but I didn’t know anything about it. Any tips on what makes it special?
I’ve been playing pool for 40 years since I was 12yo and playing seriously between 15-28yo in large tournaments also on the road gambling. Pool cues are one thing that are overlooked many times don’t get me wrong you have to kiss A-LOT of Frogs 🐸 before you find a good one BUT it’s worth it because there are pool cues out there “used” that go into 5-figures easily! When it comes to your typical garage sale cue your talking about $200-$1000 for the better ones that will pop up from time to time.. Here are a few of those names to look for- Meucci, Schon, Joss, McDermott, Predator, Jacoby & Lucasi but better to do a eBay search when you see one but like I said a lot of frogs 🐸 but you will thank me in the long run 😉 I have seen 100’s and 100’s of cues at garage sales with 99% being junk but when you find a good one it is well worth it. I picked up a cue a couple years ago a Paul Mottey who was a cue maker in PA this was at a Estate Sale and I paid $50 and I sold it last year for $11k 😉
Your mistake wasn’t too bad, at least you got your money back . The empty Dreamcast cases aren’t worthless either - if you coke across the loose CD for the games , you can put them in the case and sell them as complete

If I walk up to a garage sale and see video games items there, I’m going to ask. I personally collect video games. I have every system. I’m going to buy what I enjoy. I can go and buy them online but part of the journey if finding them in the wild.
As for not buying from a reseller. Amazon, Walmart, target, etc are all resellers. They just buy in wholesale. Even your grocery store buys from farmers to resell items. Good luck on that one.

You have also affected thrift prices for all of us, and the prices are getting absurd because of resellers!
