Holy crap. I haven’t been to this channel since your big chop and your hair is thriving. I had to big chop due to a bad relaxer mishap and at the time, I was devastated but I’m kinda happy it happened because it forced me to discover my natural hair and I LOVE it. Just wanted to say that your doing an excellent job with your hair and it shows.
Every time I need encouragement and inspiration to help guide me to continue my transitioning from relaxed to natural hair I watch videos like these ❤️
It’s been 3 years since your big chop and your hair has grown so much. What is your hair routine? What product did you use? Can you do a video about this?
I'm so amazed by your hair growth! Just watched your video from 2 years ago on your "7month hair update..." Then stumbled upon this one. And love that I can see how far you've come.
Also the Denman brush is not not a detangling brush. It's a styling brush, you're supposed to use it after detangling and sectioning your hair to style your curls, kind of like taking a pair of scissors to a ribbon and curling the ribbon. There are lots of videos showing how to do it but detangling with it is harsh, it's too firm for that, there's no give so it pulls hair out.
Thank you! I do! But I haven't used it since the last henna video I posted. I'm thinking about using henna more regularly, not as a dye but as a treatment.
I would strongly consider giving the nape a fresh cut or even shave to start over. As it grows keep it moisturized & protected. I keep my nape in braids, small twist or ouch-less rubber bands & pinned up to keep it completely out the way until it get stronger & longer.
It detoxes your hair. For me, it has deep cleaning affects. It cleanses my hair from product build up and refreshes my curls. I always follow with a moisturizing deep conditioner.
Girl you are rocking your natural! I’m in awe of how beautiful your hair is! Black women are truly blessed to have curly crowns!
NiCole Sky Not all black hair curls like that when natural. She just hit the genetic jackpot.

Yes there was a slight gel cast. But it wasn't unbearable lol. It actually helped the wash and go last.

Good to know! Noted. Thanks.
Do you still use the henna to dye your hair black? It looks so good 😊
Thank you! I do! But I haven't used it since the last henna video I posted. I'm thinking about using henna more regularly, not as a dye but as a treatment.
Do you still use Aloe vera juice?
Does anyone have an nape growth suggestions? My nape is so broken 😢

did you bobby pin the front to get it to lay slick or did you just brush it to the side?
Miss Keyy yes! I did Bobby pin the front to keep it slicked down
Damn your hair grew fast
Why is the Aztec secret good for hair? I use it on my face but I would think it would be really drying on the hair...

@@ESSNTLI see, I gotta try that next time I use it on my face!
I hate the Denman brush too 😆 So does my Sister
I will have to try this method👍👍👍👍
wow beautiful 💕
If I did any of that my hair would shrink by 50%. 🤷🏾♀️
Chocolate Capricorn shrinkage is your friend!!
