FOOD & RESTAURANTS IN FORTALEZA | CEARÁ | BRAZIL

In this video we share with you some of the restaurants and coffee shops that we tried when visiting Fortaleza. Fortaleza is very rich in terms of variety of restaurants and food options. In this video we visited Zoy restaurant, a coffee shop in the Iguatemi shopping mall called Café Turco where we had Turkish coffee and Bakhlava. Then we visited the Var Jota neighbourhood which is a very trendy neighbourhood and has lots of amazing restaurants. in Var Jota we had a meal at the Carneiro do Ordones restaurant and tried some of the items on their menu that are typical of this region. Next place we tried was Kina do Feijão Verde which serves some of the most typical dishes of this region and this restaurant did not disappoint at all. Lastly, we visited anotherr coffee shop called Cafeteria Santa Clara which is actually inside a trail wagon and that's why we really wanted to visit it. A propaganda negativa também se deve em grande parte à mídia ocidental. Infelizmente os países ocidentais sempre querem dizer que o seu é o melhor, mas morávamos no Canadá e no final decidimos ir embora porque a vida era impossível. Nenhum país é perfeito, mas devemos visitá-los e experimentar viver lá antes de acreditarmos no que nos dizem na TV 😉

Nice, easy-flowing video. I've visited Brasil many times but never Fortaleza! Great food at resonable prices at this tourist beach town! In the USA unfortunately we have mostly Brazilian steak houses with American beef, not typical brazilian regional food😅

Hi there, thank you for watching our video. Yes Fortaleza is one of our favourite cities and I highly recommend you visit this great city during your next trip to Brazil.
In Canada we also only had Brazilian steak houses but I find the meat here in Brazil has a much better taste and the typical dishes from each region is almost impossible to find outside of Brazil.
