How to make mini electric room heater - Homemade portable desk heater.

This is very simple and easy to make homemade mini electric room heater powered using 24 volt dc 5 ampere switching power supply, This electric room heater consumes around 125 watt of power and it can be used as desk heater. Nichrome wire is used as a heating element in this room heater.

How do you know it consumes 125 W of power? Is that because 24x5? (close) How does the resistance of the coiled wire play into this calculation?

The exact equation varies based on the type of resistance wire you use, supply voltage, wire resistance per unit length, etc. You can find calculators for determining the length needed for the target wattage by googling "nichrome wire calculator".
