    Don´t to this stove, people. One touch with a hand or the metal cooking utensil/spoon or metal stirring equipment to that unfused, exposed heating element and you are dead. Neither your body, neither the tin body of the stove will most likely lower the resistance so that the circuit fuse for that power line will break and it will fry you alive with 4-8A, depending if your mains is 250 or 120V. Your hand, burned through by the heat from the element will be your smallest problem, then.

    We used to make this heater in the early eighties and mid nineties of the last century. We used to come with a thermistor block and start digging this block piece and put the heater wire in it and then connect it to hot and cold electrodes and then connect it with a cable to electricity

    That is the exact method used in making hot plates but he needed to cover the coil with insulating cement to prevent shocking. Because any contact with the coil could be so disastrous, and may lead to death

    Ty vole, tak tohle je už moc i na mě! Ochrana před úrazem elektrickým proudem asi pánovi nic neříká. Vařiče s otevřenou topnou spirálo se u nás dělali v padesátých letech. Jeden mám doma schovaný po opravě, abych mohl ukazovat, co se dřív používalo. Ale i ten je bezpečnější než tohle.Tenhle výrobek bych si nedovolil provozovat ani v laboratorních podmínkách s dielektrickými rukavicemi. Jen by mě moc zajímalo ve které zemi žije tenhle "šikula".

    • @dschannel1171
      @dschannel1171 3 года назад

      Está faltando um aterramento e um circuito específico para esse fogão de forma que qualquer curto-circuito entre os terminais ou com um terminal e a carcaça desligue o disjuntor. Se for usar uma extensão, que seja específica para esse fogão, com um disjuntor bipolar pois mesmo no monofásico não há garantia de que a tomada tenha sido instalada sem estar invertido fase e neutro, e tenha aterramento para caso uma fase encoste na carcaça o disjuntor se desligue.

    It can be seen that in some places, the resistance is stronger, there it will burn you.
    Before stretching the resistance, you must measure the channel with a piece of thread. Measure the resistance after that piece of thread and then put it on the channel, so that it will be uniform in length and will radiate heat evenly.

    When a commercially manufactured single hob can be bought brand new for £10:45 and for £2:50 secondhand, I see little point in constructing one!
    Mains powered electricity is not something to involve oneself with if you don't fully comprehend its operation and potential to emit electric shocks or to catch fire!
    It is extremely easy to electrocute oneself fatally, this can not be over emphisised.
