Do you have BF4 installed? I can't find a single 5800X3D benchmark video in that game. I have a 5600X and there is a frame rate consistency issue that affects ryzen CPUs due to their infinity fabric latency. The 5800X3D's larger cache is supposed to alleviate that but I'd like to confirm that before buying it. I'd prefer not going with intel 13th gen if i can avoid that since I'd have to upgrade the motherboard and possibly the cooler. Going with intel would also mean losing SAM since I have a 6800XT. Here's the fps fluctuation issue I'm talking about. 9900KS vs 5900X both running tuned dual-rank b-die RAM in Battlefield 4. Look at the framerate when the helicopter is looking in the direction of those two buildings in the center of the map. 9900KS: the fps rarely drops below 300. ruclips.net/video/9xczh9Z3mWY/видео.html. Here's another video with the fps locked to 360 ruclips.net/video/ZSlcQWDNBZE/видео.html 5900X: Big yikes ruclips.net/video/eYSkbi9EJ4M/видео.html. I have a tuned 5600X system and I have the same issue. Those fps fluctuations are very noticeable on 240hz+ monitors. Here's an untuned and GPU-bottlenecked 12700k. ruclips.net/video/xyC30o38zFg/видео.html
