❤❤❤😊
Love the idea of quilt as you go, something else to put on the list to try. Thank you for giving us all these ideas.👏🏻👏🏻
You are very welcome, thank you for watching! 🥰 xx
Good to see you Lily. You could still quilt your quilt now. ❤❤
Hi Anne, yes I may do I think it would look nicer ☺️ xx
Dear Lily you have done some lovely items, the quilt is so pretty and you know you could easily stitch it if you feel up to doing it. Take care xXx
Thank you so much Christine, have a lovely weekend xx
Hi Lily, I hope all is well with you. Your embroidery quilt is beautiful. Like you say, it was a learning curve. Making that has given you the confidence to embark on more quilting. Think of all the relaxing embroidery to put into another quilt.
Love how the qayg is looking. I haven't done any yet. However, I'm making a love note sweater. Which is looking lovely. I don't ordinarily make many garments, but I'm enjoying it.
Have a great weekend. Xx
Hi Angela, Yes I have a little seed of an idea to make another one now with embroidery again. I’ve had some comments about maybe quilting the original one so I may do that too. Enjoy making your sweater and have a lovely weekend xx
Hi Lilly! I know you have talked yourself out of quilting the embroidered quilt but you could always hand quilt around the edges of the blocks using longer stitches. Just a thought.
I like the blocks you’ve done so far for your new quilt! Take care.
Thank you, I've had so many suggestions in the comments I might redo the quilt somehow, have a lovely weekend 😊 xx
It’s so good to find good needles it makes it much easier.xx🐝🐝
It’s about time I bought some new ones. The others were 1980s! Just need to thread them now 😂 xx
@ I’ve just covered a stool and made a cushion to match get me.xx🐝🐝
@ oh you are an upcycling queen! 👏 xx
Lovely quilt and bag. Dying ti see what you do with the tweed. You are doing great
Thank you Helen, I'm soo excited to make it but trying to pace myself 😅 xx
Lovely quilt 😊
Thank you so much 😊 xx
Your old quilt is lovely! You could still quilt it as is and then add a bias binding around the edge! Kind of like repurposing it xx
That’s a great idea, I hadn’t thought of adding a bias after I’d quilted it , thank you! ☺️ xx
Hey, what a coincidence 😃 I've just started much the same 're do' project. The first crocheted throw i made was lovely, i was thrilled to bits with it 🎉 But I've built up a TON of skills since then and I'm excited to make another (much improved 😂) one!
You are doing some wonderful quilting, the clam shell appliqué looks terrific. New needles too 🪡🧵🪡 very satisfying!
Thank you Rowan, you don’t always realise how much you’ve improved until you look back at your earlier makes do you. Enjoy planning/‘making your new improved throw 🧶 Have a lovely week 🌸 xx
@@LillyandTheBee Exactly! Enjoy your week too ☺️
Lilly just do some quilting lines on the machine and do stitch in the ditch on the machine .
That’s a good idea, thank you ☺️ xx
I love the quilt in progress and the bag. Is there any chance of you cutting out the embroidery from the blocks of you old quilt and using them again. With so much beautiful embroidery it is a shame to completely forget about it. Take care xx
Hi Jacqueline, thank you for watching and for your quilt suggestion 😊 take care xx
