- Here it is, the car comparison between Top class A manufacturers. The British Legend of motorspots: Jaguar XJR-9, that is rumoured to be a new A class king because of its insane top speed, is being put against Pagani Imola, perhaps one of the current A class kings. There's nothing much to add on, so I hope you will enjoy :)

Summary:
Jaguar undoubtly is gonna be called one of the kings of A class - Imola being King on top speed based maps (Cairo and Pudong presented on the video) was *easily* outclashed by the Jag by a whole damn second or even more than that. On twisty maps in other hand this will not do that well, especially driven by even better than average manual drivers - it does feel somewhat stiff to drive, I mean the agility and drift radius are actually not as bad as it could be, until you decide to 360, then it goes pretty wide. It's incredibly hard to both gain and maintain the speed, the car easily loses the speed even while turning on perfect nitro, and 69 acceleration put to 400 km/h+ car is actually very difficult to work together with.
Another very important factor of driving this car is the Shockwave usage - take a closer look on how I took the first ramp on Beach Landing - I carried on shockwave for almost a second on the shockwave, otherwise I would be stuck on 410 km/h there, thus lose even a few tenths of a second on just that one section. Same story goes to Pudong, you could see I use shockwave specifically after landing - initially after you land correctly, you can still get your car driving above its top speed, and this is is why I was using shockwave - without the shockwave I wouldn't achieve the "above top speed speed", because of the incredible snail-like acceleration. It will also be very important to know for which sections saving for shockwave would be more vital, fortunately with time more Pro players will be sharing their ways of managing the car on certain maps.
That being said, the car may actually be called a king, but unfortunately it's way more difficult to drive this car than Pagani Imola, the same car that's perhaps the most unstable suspension in the whole game. The reason is pretty much mentioned above - the acceleration combined with such speed and handling, it heavily reminds me of Mercedes SLK Special from Asphalt 8 if you guys remember, at least I do see the pattern there. Another example would be basis on Touchdrive times, where difference between TD and MD times with Jaguar is higher than with Imola, meaning that the car is harder to drive for Touchdrivers, and this will include... unfortunately almost everyone except the most experienced drivers.
Would I recommend going for this car? Probably, it honestly depends how many tokens do you have, but if I'm being honest it would be the case of "go max or go home" kind of car really. I can imagine how good it would be in Ghost Slipstream though XD
Other miscellaneous information:
- possible times (in race orders):
a) Jaguar - low 1:08 || surely low 1:08 / maybe even below it || 1:04.7 based on my imperfections would be possible
b) Imola - definitely 1:07 is possible || maybe 1:09.4 || 1:05 would be nice
I actually had recordings of Imola x Pudong 1:06.0 and Jaguar x Pudong 1:04.8 but deleted them my accident :(

I would prefer imola over jag, due to it's insanely good floaty and punch drift capabilities. Jag can't do that, but hey, jag will be much better in slipstream.

The jaguar has somewhat low handling stat, yet it's turning and drifting is so good

It felt weird for me because Perfect Nitro is quite consistent but I was struggling badly on Caribbean and Osaka but the moment I was on Himalayas, it felt like a Rocket when I had more Top Speed to play around with. 😅
If you are skilled enough to keep it at above average Top Speed on Twisty Tracks you'll have a decent contender but on Top Speed... No contest. 🙅
I beat all cars even without using Nitro for most part 😂. (on Himalayas obviously). But since I'm not a pro I was struggling on other maps which requires Better Accel.

69 acceleration is perfect for 412kmp. Class A car. it would not make sense, put more acceleration, in this case it would be class S, obviously
they had to nerf one stat significantly cause top speed is S class level
My opinion of the Jaguar XJR-9. Classic is not recommended, the other drivers would get in your way a lot, because of the bad acceleration, although it depends on your skills. Ghost, you would need to have a very good race to win. In ghost slipstream he would be the King.

I liked the fact that gl put an 8 or 80 car like that, very high end with good nitro but sucks on everything else, it changes the gameplay by a lot
Yepp, it really made me think how to play with this car
Guess the only question to ask is how many tries it took to do these perfect runs for each car because this runs are stellar maybe that way we can know how good and consistent each is especially for us non aliens. The most consistent would be a better choice imo.
All runs took me about an hour each except the Beach Landing with Jaguar, managed to nail the run just after 9 minutes. Hardest being Imola pudong actually, I couldn't nail the middle part correctly. Took me almost 1.5h
Jaguar is a F1 lm in A class, but the handling gets worse and nitro gets better. So because of different performances of current A class kings, it would be an intense fight in different tracks if the 5 A kings meet in a match.
F1 has godly Handling and acceleration ...you can't compare the jaguar with a freeking f1 car
the jag has low handling stat but the drift radius is very good

i thnk its safe to say it is the new king for straight tracks, straight and twisty track and can also floaty and punch drift!? its the new king by quite a long shot
the 360 float doesn't hold for long, punch isn't that efficient either but does give slight advantage if used in correct place in correct time
My thoughts about this car. It's just weird to drive for me. It's just fine, but I feel like the combination of its bad acceleration and good nitro makes it weird to drive. It takes forever to reach its top speed, I feel like I have to use all of my nitro just to get there. Even then, I only reached top speed for a few seconds (even less so for twisty tracks).
Pretty much that's how you're supposed to drive this unfortunately, it really requires you to think how to keep up with it
@@JagerMajsterrrhonestly that is what i love with this car, the characteristic of it to just think properly while driving it is amazing, unlike f1lm imola type cars where however u drive it wont affect the time as much as like jaguar xjr, driving this car felt like driving the high end s class cars like bolide, not talking about similarity in stats, similarity in the thinking, driving the bolide i had to think a lot of using the nitro, saving the shockwave for the right part and zooming with max speed, this is the same, jaguar xjr has really satisfying floaties saving me that sweet top speed and its really fun when u actually maintain that top speed for a lot of time and zoom past ur opponents. Love the challenge it gives

Yeah, the car is true example of being "something for something", and it doesn't work brilliantly on all map varieties. Current Elite A I am almpst sure the Jag won't do well there

Now because of the higher topspeed. The Jag would need to drift more on corners while the Imola because of its lower speed and being more agile it could just perfect nitro around it. i feel like in new york the Imola could win... Who knows.

On maps like Uptown or Subway Surfing I believe Jaguar wouldn't edge out, but Leaps & Bounds or City that Never Sleeps I feel like Jag would win there

Result : The Jaguar is like the Inferno, but MUCH slower accel

Can someone explain what are floating and other professional terms you use?
Floating is the process where car happens to be not losing the speed during the drift, with cost of having wider drift radius.
This can be done by doing 360 - for example if you are about to turn left, do 360 to the right (or as it's called Clockwise 360), and turn left - you'll have wider drift radius but you'll drift with much higher speed (bare in mind - not every car can do it efficiently). Cars like Jesko or Venom are based on those scenarios.
It also can be enhanced by drift punch - during the drift you use nitro and immediately after back to brake, this proces must be as quickly as possible. It's pretty much like nitro brake technique, although you press buttons in reverse order, and once in a second to 2 seconds perhaps.
Few cars (like LVN) easily can start floating by just doing a sharp drift, because of how the car's suspension works. In my instance I'd be tilting my phone as fastest as I could on the turn.

Current 2nd fastest (at the time of uploading the video) was the Pagani Imola, I did the test drives BEFORE everyone else had hands on Jaguar. At the time Imola was sitll 2nd fastest car top speed wise, that's what I meant by saying it

Well Valhalla is more of an alternative for Imola. Valhalla is worse than Imola on top speed maps, it's just that it's very stable and very agile
