Simvastatin for Multiple Sclerosis [Neurologist Explains}

- Believe it not, the old cholesterol medication simvastatin (zocor) actually reduced brain atrophy and disability in people with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis in a randomized controlled trial published in 2014 (the MS STAT study). This video explains why simvastatin might be beneficial and the results of several clinical trials. At the end, I give my personal opinion.
