will you please show the entire build. What do the large stones sit on? How/what is used in that construction? Sources for the drill/bits... would be helpful, please Good quality video
This video is great- you make it look so easy, I am inspired to do one in my backyard. Can you show a video of how you install the pump and light? Would love to see this. Thanks!!!
Very cool! I’m keeping my eye out for the perfect rock as I hike along in the world… I definitely want to make one this spring ~ I’m gonna need to borrow some tools tho…
Great video quality. Well worth the investment. A little wind noise on the audio. I love the rock fountain. Need to find someone around central texas that does this.
A FEW questions if I may. where are you getting 2 inch bits and will they handle Granite or just sandstone? I'm doing the same thing as you pretty much but the light is a nice touch. One of my biggest issues is getting one inch stone bits longer then 24 inches. There are some 36 and 48 inch bits on the European market but boy they are pricey. Last question.... Have you found away to adjust water flow without swapping pumps out. Are there outdoor rated dimmers that would adjust flow or at least pump speed? thanks..
All we have for stone around here is granite and all of the bits have been great for me. To be honest I have no clue where the bits come from. My father runs a large commercial plumbing company and I borrow the hammer drill and bits from them when I need them. For the 2 inch hole you may be able to get some sort of cup for a grinder instead of a whole bit. What I am doing now to adjust flow is just adding a ball valve after the pump. Its not easy to get to to adjust but makes it doable.
smart. i do enjoy these types of water features. noticed the change again on your truck. you know you can at least plastidip then or something so it doesnt look like a complete stock truck...
+Snipe Stud00 Yes they're nice and simple! The reason I made the change was because of the color not the style. I just know theres going to be people that I will be dealing with that won't find them very professional.
MassHardscaper i understand where your comming from. i just dont beleive many people would care. you could have bought your truck used with them on there. i recently had an electrican at my house that has a 12in lifted 2013 ram 3500 mega cab long bed conversion with aftermarket bumpers on 37s. also has a a new 2016 z06 vette, just never drives it to jobs. all his work trucks are lifted tundras with a bed shell.....
I really want to do something like this in my back yard i have a few stones to stack each about 6" thick but when the water freezes in the witnter do you have to tear apart, drain previously or just let the pump freeze in water. Also would a 320gph pump be in the range size? Thanks for posting the videos love the timelaps.
No problem! We drain the basins and remove the pumps every winter to prevent damage. This boulder has a 400gph pump but it all depends on how big and how wide the pipe will be. I say go larger and put a valve on it so you can turn it down if needed.
Hello... I do all brick paving work along with blue stone installations... I want to install this idea... Very good idea I will add. Cool! Listen... What type of basin are you using? I wish you had a step by step video on how to install this type of water feature... Please let me know step by step; and where to purchase just the water equipment... Basin, pumps, lights... I can use any stone...
PLEASE spend a few dollars on eBay to get a "windscreen" for your microphone. That will eliminate the awful roaring sound that we hear when the wind moves across the microphone.
hey there ive been thinking about making a few for myself ? for you what kind of pump do you use pump with light ? can you please replay back thanks so much
I use Aquascape basins and pumps. The lights we've used in the past have been from them as well but we haven't had super good luck with them so we haven't been installing the lights in our more recent jobs.
What is important for the owner of the house where is the located water some please can bring money some good health some place can bring bad health and incurable diseases
I noticed that you got new tires and rims for your truck, is it because you didn't think you would look professional when you start your company? Looks good thow
+EDK Landscaping Yep. I personally don't find an issue with it but I know some people do. I just put the stock rims back on... same tires I had before though.
$850 installed? Wow, here in AZ they would sell that boulder alone for $500. That whole thing here would be closer to $2000.00. I think you need to reassess your price. You have all the equipment to get the job done, the regular hump would never in most circumstances be able to move the boulder let alone drill it, and place it etc. You need to double your price at least. Read up a little on owing your own business as well. You will find out your vastly under priced for your product and what you do.

Great pic quality. Show how your supporting the fountain rock and the reservoir system
Wish you were here in CA , do you recommend basin as the fountain base or built in concrete?
Great video quality. Well worth the investment. A little wind noise on the audio. I love the rock fountain. Need to find someone around central texas that does this.
I was hoping you would have a tutorial how you do this. Your looks great
Way cool! Thanks for posting, it's something I've been wanting to try and you've motivated me.
Curious what size pipe you used? And what was the process to get the pipe ran under the boulder? Thx

Would love to know where you got those size drill bits. Need them for a job and cannot seem to find any bigger than my finger.

Can you tell me what you used for the light in the rock?
I would love to have a few of those

What GPH sized pump for you recommend for this size of rock you used in the video?
Very cool!! 😍
Take it from me. Mine splashes like that and ends up emptying my tank 🙈
Be careful how powerful the pump is on
Is there a parts list or supplier you recoimend??
How much for everything?
Awesome.
Love this I think I could do it!
What do you put underneath the water feature?

+thequattro20v haha true!
U make good money from it.. something that’s pretty simple. That means u rip people off.
Cool
Needs a ball valve to not have it shoot up 6"
Great video and tip to save money making your own water features. Like, subbed and I’ll find you on IG! Thanks for the video!!!
