I love this drama. I enjoy it very much. It is not boring, but quite heartbreaking though. But has good ending. Love ml & fl too, they were excellent in it.
Idk how to properly explain this cause my english is not the best, but if shanggu knows she was houchi, she'll ask why did i become houchi? What happened when i was houchi? Why cant i remember anything when i was houchi? She will try to find the answer and it will lead to what happened before aka the calamity and her sacrificing herself. Which is what baijue is trying to prevent. He doesnt want her to sacrifice herself again so he erased that memory and all that happens afterwards. Hope u understand what im saying lmao
The drama name is Ancient Love Poetry retold a tale of two High God lover Shang Gu and Bai Ju. To be honest I dislike this drama, the cliche, the slow-pacing and silly trial or tribulation. If you don't want sad vibes, you'd better watch Ash of Love. They have more handsome cast and not acting like annoying brat or too much divine protocol.
um tbh no need to compare both have differences the drama ashes of love is annoying too cause yang zi always have the role of being dumb at first i think this would be better for a drama than in my opinion but you know no everyone can have a good taste also stop inserting your fav drama in everything this aint about them

Whether you like it or not, people always compare anime, games, drama or anything. Ash of Love also a little bit annoying but at the end I accept whatever flaws of that drama while I binge watching this Ancient Love Poetry but I can't like or love it. To me, Wu Huan is the only interesting character in this drama even she is the villain. If you can't accept different perspective,that's too bad for you.
