She didn't do it out of good will...lol she did it because she wanted to keep her place by Bai Jue's side.

This is the part in the series that I hate. Her return was so lack luster its infuriating. The way she met nai jue again was anything but shocking or how wu huan was finally put down. I like the series overall but after shanggu wakes up it falls flat.

i will never be happy with this part because baijue was too fucking cruel for taking all her memories way before she got home from the netherworld. like that's around half a thousands years, the time she came home to help them defeat qiongqi on the bridge, THEIR DATES IN THE IMMORTAL REALM TF, tianqi's eventual "betrayal" and yuemi's death. he took away all her growth during that time. he stripped away her memories and violated her rights. it sucks that he had to go that far to "save" her.
I understand where you coming from but Bai hue wasn’t thinking at that moment either, he just wanted to protect the one he love and at that moment he thought that was a good way to do it
