I test drove a 2022 Civic Sport on Saturday and came away extremely impressed. It feels very much like a premium car. The interior switches, knobs and buttons all have a very high quality, tactile feel. Very high quality everywhere you look and touch. I also sat in a 2022 Civic LX and was like Wow looks and feels the same as the Touring minus the moonroof and leather seats. The Civic has always been the gold standard in the C-segment and the 2022 Civic just moved the bar even higher.
You should set the camera further back. This way viewers can see the dash and your input to compare how the car is responding. Great job on the channel. Looking forward for more vids.
This seems like the best option for those wanting a reliable and good looking car, nothing else. I currently have an Accord 2.0, which I love but I always feel limited when driving it since I’m always going over the speed limit 😂. The Civic Sport is the perfect balance for something fun with some fun and little power.. my next car 👀

Dude that cop situation sounds rough. The 2.0 Civic has plenty of pep around town in sport mode or normal. I don't like driving it in eco, it feels way too sluggish.
I'm actually shopping for a new car. I've seen reviews on the new Civic. I was disappointed in the lack of some tech and safety features on the Sport trim. The infotainment screen is a little bit on the small side to me. I just wish Honda made a Sport trim with some premium options. No sunroof on the Sport trim is a let down. Most of the cars I've owned have a sunroof. Won't buy one without it. I test drove the new Hyundai Elantra Limited last weekend. I was blown away with all the tech features. I love the bold aggressive coupe like styling. And it rides amazing! The infotainment layout reminds me of Mercedes. They have a digital key access by using a digital key card or your phone. So basically you can leave your fob at home and start the car with your phone! Very innovative. But one feature that put the icing on the cake for me is 64 colors ambient lighting. Ambient lighting on a Hyundai?! That's unheard of in the compact car market. I will test drive the new Civic just to get the feel of it. But the LX and Sport trim wouldn't be an option for me. I think the Touring trim is overly priced. I wouldn't pay $30k on a compact car. The new Kia K5 is also on my list to test drive. Especially the GT-Line trim in wolf gray, red leather seats, and panoramic roof. Surprisingly, it's close the same price as the Civic Touring. Overall, the new Civic is nice. Just missed the bar with me regarding some tech features.
I’m also shopping for a new car and was stuck between the new elantra SEL with the convenience package or a 22 Civic EX and I have decided to go with the civic as much as I like the tech features of the Elantra. I just trust Honda more than Hyundai when it comes to reliability.
@@lokomoko008 Good for you. But I'm not living in phobia about Hyundai or Kia brands like people has done in the 90s and early '00s. I currently owned a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Have no issues with it all. I have family members owne Hyundai's longer than me and have no issues. And to be honest, I'm not trying to keep a car for long-time. I normally trade up after 5 years. I do like the new Civic. But I know what Hyundai gives as far as tech and features. But I'm actually thinking about getting the new Kia K5 GT-Line awd. A mid-sized car that is about the same price as the new Honda Civic EX you purchased.
this car would've been my choice this fall if only it wasn't for the tail lights. i just have no love for that design. there's the corolla which is also nice but i hate the front lights as well. it sucks how for the civic im cool with the front lights but i hate the tail lights. vice versa for the corolla. i pretty have to settle for a sentra because both the front and the tail lights have nice design-safety features are also good for something at that price range. the only thing that sucks though is the speed..it looks really slow. a civic would've been nice but..im not digging the tail lights at all. but preference is preference. im glad you're enjoying your new car.
I don't under why Honda refuses to make a sport model sedan with the 1.5T. I love the way the Sedan sport looks (and I hate sunroofs) but 158hp in a 2.0L is not enough horsepower AT ALL.

That’s basically all a sunroof does all day too but it blinds you from the top of the car. Also they are super prone to leaking and causing tons of water damage and rust which is what I’m currently dealing with in my Civic

How do people put up with the noise of that CVT? Also, a POV video is typically done with a view inside the cabin too, not just the bonnet and outside world!
I think there's no solution to this unless compromising greatly on kerb weight of car to give it more mileage which is not good for safety reasons. The best thing would be bringing back manual transmission :P

In Canada on sport trim we have sunroof..heated steering wheel...2 usb port at the back ...etc .
