Zero evidence of any plants. More likely, it was the fact that the car was priced too low to be true that got people to come up. The plaintiff was taken in by the sense of urgency because she didn't want a "great deal" to slip through her hands. The defendant didn't even con her about the mechanic---he straight up told her this is a guy he knows. She had all the info in her hands to realize this was a bad idea---she just decided to ignore all of that to get the deal.

Do these people ever watch court shows? As-Is sales are hard to prove. This plaintiff was just dumb. If it’s too good to be true then it usually is.

What if the bill of sale was made by the seller themselves and said it was in good condition? Would’ve that change the outcome?

any mechanic worth their salt should be honest with the person who is looking to buy...it shouldn't matter if it's hers, his, some random one
on another note though I don't trust mechanics period (most of them think you know nothing about a car and will use that to say it needs a whole bunch of expensive crap~ I think that "As Is" law really needs updated

These used car cases are annoying…. They obviously don’t watch this show because they would know that the plaintiffs never win…

Used cars are buyer beware. Used cars are as is sales and the person selling the car will say anything to get you to buy it, it's called puffing. Be informed.
