Love that Madonna has dedicated her whole life to her fans. I heard Like a Virgin the first time at a disco in Shibuya, Tokyo in ‘84! I bought the LP the next day at my local record shop. I was pleasantly surprised that she had already released another earlier. Like a Virgin was what really cemented her stardom in Japan. I hope I live long enough to catch another album or two!
This remix is so insanely good. It still preserves the integrity of the original while breathing new life into it as well. Sickick’s voice is similar to The Weekend’s and now I can’t help but wonder how the track would’ve been like if he was in it. Nonetheless, Sickick’s voice beautifully complements Madonna’s.
This was originally supposed to be a duet with The Weeknd premiered at the Superbowl last Year. The whole 50 dance number ones compilation album then started to be thought about so this was held back until now, but The Weeknd had moved on to other things by then. I wouldn't be surprised though if they collaborate at some point because they are fans of each others work. She also bought his house.

I personally think he should have left it as originally performed as by using a drug reference means this version is unlikely to be played on commercial radio, a miscalculation on Sickick’s part I think.
