Toyota can definitely make a potent small displacement inline 4 to run with Hondas B series. When I was younger I had an 05 XRS with basic bolt ons and a 75 shot with only fuel tuning coming from an old School AFC but it was actually pretty damn quick for what it was running almost 13.0 consistently with a 1.8x 60’. It surprised a bunch of random cars that were considered fast back then when we raced. I remember specifically beating a modified S/C Pontiac GTP, an E36 M3, and an early 2000’s Mustang GT. And off the bottle it was faster than my buddies B16 EM1 Si and would be neck and neck with our other friends 02 Spec V with a bunch of Nismo bolt ons. It really wasn’t bad for a little econo-box with a header and an intake.
On stock ECU that’s not possible unfortunately. But even if you have an aftermarket ECU to do this you’ll lose power when lowering the lift point on stock cams. Mine hits at 6krpm but most power is actually at around 6700 rpm.

This thing sounds amazing
It sounds like a 4AGE...
Right, that’s because this 2ZZ-GE and the 4A-GE both have Yamaha designed heads.
Yamaha heads are amazing..
@@keeganplayz1875Yamaha gave me head one time
Faster than my v8
Is it possible to change your vvtli engagement to 5000 Rpms through ECU?

@@EnginesRMymusic oh okay thank you sir
😩😩Aah that sounds so good🤤🤤🫠🫠
my lift doesnt work. i have no idea how to get it going again. I have beaten and wrx and starlet gt in my runX. very good car.
You have to get lift working again bro! It’s a big part of this engine.
What did you check so far to resolve it?
You have installed a itb's bro?
How much HP?
192HP
Still slow AF xD (but thats the best part ;)
What mods did you use?
Only custom intake and exhaust. The engine itself is fully stock atm. Watch my latest video to see a 0 to top speed.
@@EnginesRMymusic sounds loud, you put a short ram in there ? you know it kills power
Vvti is more cool than vtec
