I seem to recall the Joe voluntarily declined the 2016 nomination because he was still mourning the death of his son & felt he wasn't capable of being president at that time. If I remember that correctly & I think I do, that is a huge positive in my mind because he has shown a willingness to step aside. If he wins the election (and I think he will) & he feels he should retire before his term ends, I trust he will and I have zero problem with that. There are plenty of presidents who have not finished their term in office with no harm done to the country. Nixon to Ford; JFK to LBJ; FDR to Truman; Harding to Coolidge; McKinley to Teddy Roosevelt and plenty more before them.

My view of Biden has not changed despite a disappointing debate. In fact, I support him more now than ever before.
