Who knew there were so many little libraries in Wilmington/Topsail? It would be fun to have more younger kids little libraries (elementary level). A fun and exciting trek to take kids to, borrow and lend.

I love LFL hunting. I'm usually a middle grade fantasy reader and once in awhile read non fiction books about my interests. I love the bookmarks in the blue LFL.

Hey, Erin. If you want a quick super fun Gaiman book read The Graveyard Book. A boy’s family is murdered, and he escapes into a graveyard where he is reared by ghosts. (That’s how the story begins, so it’s not a spoiler.) It’s very good!

The Hobbit and LOTR have been much loved by me. I worked in school s and gave my set away to a boy who was reading it. It was my old set from the 1970's when I read them 3 times in a row. I have read 1 and 2 of The Red Rising. They were good but I got tired of the non-stop war, I had bought1-3 and gave them to the library. Of course I read Crawdads and liked it good enough but maybe not over a 3. I love watching LFL videos. I do love librarians, but when I go in I talk to them too much.

It’s awesome that you pass along your books so others can enjoy them! Speaking as a Librarian myself, I can practically guarantee that they love speaking with you. Chatting with a patron about recent reads is the best! Thanks for supporting your local library. 💜

Erin, you have to give Gaiman another try! He is amazing. Ocean at the End of the Lane is on my July TBR.
Elaina, you inspired me to buy scratch off stickers! I have made what I call a "chaos cauldron" full of weird and unhinged book recs for me to pull from during a reading slump or if Im in a goofy mood.

“Chaos cauldron” lmao love it!!!!!! That’s actually a great idea just to switch things up sometimes. Gaiman on the list haha maybe we’ll discuss his books next month after Erin finally reads a couple!

I haven’t read Wager. How bad was it?

I’m definitely exaggerating. It wasn’t terrible, just way more boring than I expected considering how hyped it was. Underwhelming for sure

Danielle Steele’s memoir about her son is so poignant.

The staging of her portrait on the back cover of this book was phenomenal. We’ll look the memoir up!!
