Thanks for sharing your videos, they are very informative. The finished jacket looks pretty good to me. Angelis dye is great stuff. It can also be used to dye maple and other timber for stunning electric guitar finishes.
I've never really been successful in staining maple. Lets give a shot in an upcoming video. We'll compare wood and leather stains/dyes on maple, oak and pine. Thanks for the idea @bonenutty5929
Hi folks, i needed to leave this comment post publishing. WHile the Angelus dye was a deeper black, its effect on the leather wasn't as good. The Fiebings dye left the leather with a softer more supple feel as opposed top the Angelus which left the leather, not stiff but had a stiffer feel to it. So pick your poison.
