My question is who is going to replace these LED lights on private buildings after they stop working eventually? We all know it's going to get ugly if there is no similar lighting system. And I don't think the private owners would be willing to spend money on the management of these lights. I like the garden areas where people can sit and chill though.
The lighting theme is almost abnormally uniform. Excessively multi-coloured would of been unusual also but a balance of colour here would of been better.
Why is it called 4 kilo and 6 kilo, supposedly to refer to its 4km distance from the main palace, OR the four roads joining at the square. The monument represents a white obelisk where the scenes of massacre and the funerals of the victims are depicted. This monument is also called the Monument of Martyrs or Sidist Kilo ("Six Kilometer"), that is, the name of the quarter where the monument is located.
Cool.. I repeat.. I get a feeling of safety and peacefulness in basically all of the places in Addis Ababa.. Its something that is so much lacking in my country generally. I know I am speaking for myself, but Ethiopia is so much unique in many ways.. I am battling to catch the name of the place even with the earphones. What is the place called .., friend?
