- Maybe the racing game i most ever played in, almost, all of his versiones, Mega Drive, 32X and arcade.
The PS2 version, although runs at 60 fps (the arcade ran at 30), is very bad and plays a lot different from the arcade (you can turn at max all time and your car not spin)
Another masterpiece from Sega.
Nice job, Iv'e been looking for a video of someone beating the hard mode for Sega genesis, but this was the closest I could find.

how have you got this setup as for me the camera bounces all over when you go around a corner and on the first track when you go down the straight the car goes to the right by its self and ive tried everything and my pc has a 1070ti and iv tried all mame versions and still the same problems yet youtubers using mame are running this near perfectly but dont say how
I don't remember exactly what version I used to record this video, but I just tried Retroach with MAME 2010 (the most recent MAME doesn't load it) and it works perfectly without touching anything special. I have used a rom from wowroms, the one that is 9.31MB in size.

MAME renders all its machines purely in software on the CPU, the only thing the GPU does is displaying the already-finalized image on the screen

It now works on the latest version of MAME, if I remember correctly.
Wrong, Arcade Version runs in 60FPS too! ;-)
VGSuite There is a noticeable difference in smoothness between the arcade emulated version and PS2. Maybe is because MAME, don´t know.
Sega Touring Car If I checked the Mame version for some years on my PCs, VR are still running in 60FPS perfect and very nice, I was happy to see this! :)For Mame it is good if you have a extra CRT Monitor for a perfect motionquality and i use no scanline or other emulated things, only SAl Filter is good for me! :)
+VGSuite just the clouds.. same with virtua fighter.. the background runs at 60 but eh 3d only 30fps..
Yeah, Arcade Virtua Racing gives a 60fps read because of the backgrounds... all the 3D stuff is 30fps. As GamerGee said :)
