    I just figured out why SMD VR is the best version for the home. Low resolution is much better in the home. The colour are perfect. Yes dithered but just the right tones. The handling is improved from the original, which is designed for a force feedback wheel. The 32X version reduces the amount the car turns upon pressing the dpad. With this change, the game on 32X is alot less snappy to play and in fact I think has more input lag than the best port of VR for the SMD with the SVP.

      Objectively thought the PS2: Flat Out version.

      It's incredible that they could port the game to the Mega Drive, the cartridge is so powerful that it needs thermal paste so it doesn't overheat.
      It's a shame they didn't make more games with that processor because of how expensive it was to produce.

      @@GameEvolution4K well, with larger production runs, the costs are equalised. The port was very technical. The SVP was really good though. VR really needed to be a more more adapted from the arcade to sell. As it is, it is purely for maniacs like me. It's much too difficult really.

    Out of interest, whats the difference between Virtua Racing (Arcade) and Virtua Formula?

    • @GameEvolution4K
      @GameEvolution4K  2 месяца назад +4

      Virtua Formula is an update to Virtua Racing and was only released in Japan. Up to 8 players could play, being able to choose the color of the car that you like the most and the cabinets were an F1 car, in Virtua Racing depending on the cabinet you can play with 1 or 2 players. 🏎

      @@GameEvolution4K when you say update do you mean a networked version?

    • @GameEvolution4K
      @GameEvolution4K  2 месяца назад +1

      @@iwanttocomplain Yes, the arcade machines are networked by cable, but unlike virtua racing, the arcade booths were an F1 that had movement and higher resolution screens.

      @@GameEvolution4K I seem to remember VR used the first 16:9 screen. Perhaps it was this sit in cabinet's screen.

    PS2 graphics looks best
    Saturn music sounds best
    MD/Genesis plays best with digital pad
    Arcade/Switch plays best with analog controls
    But the overall best is 32X :)

    Can you do the evolution of:
    All Mega Man Games (1987-2024)
    All Sonic Games (1991-2024)
    All Mario Games (1981-2024)
    All Pac-Man Games (1980-2024)

    - The difference between the PS1 & SNES versions of Mega Man X3 is the soundtrack.
    - The question is: Which version of X3 is better?

      The comment would look better in the mega man video I uploaded, so anyone who watches the video can respond.

      The same thing happens with the first one, I think they wanted to make the game as similar as possible to the original.
