What is the timeline of eligibility and Background check
My wife and son get approval sponsor to Canada on Tuesday 17 January 2023 but they didn’t ask medical and biometrics

I applied outland spousal in September 2022 I married my wife spouse in in 2014 I have 1 son baby I send my documents and wedding pictures and pictures that we together when I send application I get rejected because I didn’t Singh the application again I i send the application back I didn’t hear anything from them

I applied for Outland spousal PR application online on 12 July 2022 and got return letter yesterday stating that
"Our office processes Family Class Sponsorship applications where the Principal Applicant resides in Canada. It appears that the Principal Applicant in your application is not residing in Canada given the information in your application documents."
What does this means, I am 100% sure that Outland applications can be submitted via online portal then why they returned my application.
Any guidance what should I do next would be appreciated.🙏

Hi. Processing time varies for each applicant. My application got processed within 6 months. This will vary for others. Please check the average timeline in ircc website
Nowadays how much time spousal PR takes
24 months average as per IRCC for sponsoring spouse living outside Canada

You can do it by yourself if you follow the instructions in the IRCC website. It's very easy. If you're still confused you can contact any immigration consultant registered with IRCC. Do not reach out to random people for help. There are scammers out there. Beware

You are still within the timeline. Be patient and you will get to the next step soon
How much time does it take to receive PPR once the medical has been updated?
Within 30 to 45 days. Takes longer than usual these days

Does the processing time for spousal sponsorship vary based on country because I am from Jamaica..I would love to get through in 6 months
It doesn't depend solely on the country. There are several other factors. The average processing time mentioned in ircc website is common for all the applicants irrespective of the country

Usually within a month after medical results are passed. More than a month in some cases

Hi, unfortunately there is no set timeline on when IRCC will process the application. But you are almost there. All the best

I did not go for upfront medical and I wouldn't recommend that. Wait for ircc's response. In my case we had a new born baby. So we did upfront medicals

Check with the clinic whether they sent the emedical to IRCC. If everything is good you can expect an update within a month approximately. If not you can raise a webform to know the status
