Just making a beef stew now and wanted to check the timings. I've used an oxo cube, a red wine stock cube, a Knor rich beef stock cube, tin of baked beans, tomato ketchup, Herbs Provencale and 500 ml of water. I don't salt and pepper till the end with putting so many cubes in. In other words used what I had. Hopefully it'll turn out OK, has done in the past. Love your videos and do normally follow your recipes.

@@sallyg3917 I find 30 mins under pressure creates really tender meat. Good luck with your recipe

You're a mind reader! I followed your slow cooker version last week and after 6 hours it came out perfect. I did wonder if it could be pressure cooked and now I know it can 😋

I made stew and dumplings last week. the same ingredients as you minus the wine. I did the beef for 10 minutes and it was crumbly so I took it out and did the veg and dumplings for 5 minutes. Some were overcooked but the dumplings were OK. I'm going back to cooking it on the hob so I can put the veg in at different times.
I used to use the normal pressure cooker all the time but now the kids have left home it's just sat in a cupboard.

This worked just right for me, beef and veg tender without it going to mush

When you started to use the pressure setting on your ninja I seen that you had other functions below where it said natural pressure with that function am guessing that you can leave open the valve and the pressure will release naturally. No my one I don’t have natural pressure and whatever it said below it on your one it just says pressure, I am wondering do I give my cooking a little longer time or just keep the same time has you say and then just release the valve when it’s finished cooking

Hi, I think you would add them after pressure cooking. Maybe add them and put it onto sear/saute with foil over the top to keep the heat in and cook the dumplings. you could put it onto bake with the dumplings added on top. I'm guessing as I've not done this and you would need to make sure there is enough liquid left so that it doesn't catch and burn on the bottom

Hello, could you tell me the measure of the pot base? I would like to cook for one person, but I guess it’s too big. Thanks in advance, a pity here in Spain it doesn’t exist the 15 th function, steam roast.

It's about 10 inches/26cm - It is a great size when you want to cook multiple things st the same time. Even something like fish and chips in the air fryer basket. I often use it just to put a pizza in for my son or make one toastie. Don't let the size put you off
