- This is the 2nd out of the 10 salad dressings I am making for you all. It is from The New McDougall Cookbook. This dressing is so good!!! You can add this to any bean salad, potato salad, tomato salad, even cooked rice. I put it on my baked potatoes and corn on the cob and it was fantastic. It is easy to make and both my kids loved it. Needless to say there were no leftovers of it for lunch the next day.
Ingredients:
1 4oz can chopped green chilies
1/4 C fresh cilantro chopped
1/4 C water
1/4 C fresh lime juice
1-2 cloves garlic
2 t agave (optional you can use a date)
fresh pepper
to make it creamy you can also add 1/4 C of canellini beans
Mix all the above together and you are done. Enjoy. - Хобби
You are very special please keep going more often. low fat/no fat way of cooking hints are so hard to find. Thank You Very Much
I will try:)
Love how you get straight into the recipes & keep your videos short .thanks for your videos, so helpful!!
Love the dressing, thank you. I use ground flax seeds to thicken the dressing. 👏👏✌✌
Great tip!
Good suggestion! I bet chia seeds would also work?
I so enjoy your videos. Thank you for your work.
I’ve made this recipe. It tastes great !! As for it being too liquid, if you don’t add the 1/4 cup of water, it comes out just fine. Great recipe !
I love how versatile this can be! Thanks for sharing the recipe Nini!
That looks so tasty!

I have to say I am a European
and the salad dressings I learnt to make
(with oil in the bad old days!)
were more like this dressing
When I follow other recipes
I often have to add water
to make them thinner
How awesome, I am so lazy when it comes to having to clean the blender, so this is perfect!
Love this series ~ Thank You!
This looks both easy to make and full of flavour. I will definitely be giving this recipe a try. Thanks for sharing. (Just wanted to point out that the written instructions list parsley rather than cilantro.)
Thank you!
That looks good.😊

Hey! Where were you...I miss your delicious recipes ✌🏼🇨🇷 Pura Vida!!
I know. I was starting my school year with my kids so it was a busy time. Thanks for being so patient! Good to see you too:)
That looks great. We have to try that one. I see you have some pickling going on behind you on the counter. You are always preparing food in some way.
Yes! this one is a winner! I am always fermenting something. The kids go though it like crazy. They love it. I sometimes cannot keep up. Anna could easily eat the whole jar in one sitting.
