I'm watching this at home and laughed and clapped at the end. Who says classical music is stuffy? This was a delight and phooey to those who disdain the conductor's style. This is great.
Right. And I wonder if all these... hmmmm... experts in the comment section would say the same about Leonard Bernstein who was famous for jumping up and down and dancing along with the music he conducted... ;)

nobody said this about classical (more specificaly - symphonical) music
Strictly speaking this is Light Orchestral music
Incredible musicianship!!!

Love love love Barbara !!❤
Maravillosa y juguetona interpretacio'n!!.-
응
From F Fennell to this version, wow! Brought tears to my eyes.
Cats rule !!!🐈😸😻🎻🎻🎻
I wish Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra had Ms. Hannigan. Music seems like more fun.
Barbara ❤

😹😻😼😽🙀😿😾😸😺🙀😼
it's all about my conducting teacher told me not to do
Nevertheless, the musical results are a thousand times better as with him.
@@libelle176 maybe too much. Sometimes less is more
It’s Barbara Hannigan, not your music teacher. That makes the difference.
@@f1livenews2023 Sometimes less is.... just less.
@@MLCflash I know, that's da trend right? Anyway is kind of over acting
Funny how the composer is not wearing a mask but the violinists are
How can you tell? The composer died in 1975.
The wind players aren't wearing masks! The players aren't more than 1½ metres apart. The mask rule is a farce in this instance. As is the conductor.
Wretched masks...@@davidhatchuel2215

This might be the most useless conducting I've ever seen.
