      I was impressed by the ending of God of War 3, when Kratos decided not to follow Athena's will and instead ended his own life to put an end to the nightmares that tormented him. It felt like he wanted to say, 'I’ve been a puppet to you all my life, now it’s time for me to decide my own fate.' When he collapsed, it looked like his endurance had reached its limit, as if he couldn’t bear it any longer. He looked so pitiful 😞.

    The ending in Valhalla as he scolds and forgives himself is very therapeutic. And notice how as he scolds his young self it's the classic soundtrack, and then as he forgives himself it slowly transitions into the new OST. The God of Hope. ✨️

    For being such caring and loving gods, abandoning him after removing the shield and the gauntlet, and yet again, fooling him into servitude and still not removing the nightmares, they don't seem that much loving and caring. Even before getting contaminated by the evil, they were selfish, uncaring and very tricky.

    • @GameverseChronicles-GC
      @GameverseChronicles-GC  29 дней назад +7

      That's right, the gods in God of War aren't as compassionate as they claim. Kratos constantly has to endure betrayal, and the actions of the gods are truly selfish. They only use him to achieve their own goals without caring about his suffering. From this perspective, it's easy to understand why Kratos harbors so much hatred and determination to destroy the gods. They not only abandoned him but also pushed him into an endless battle with no way out.

    I like to think that GoW 1's ending feels like both a sequel hook and a full ending, because should that game had flopped, at least the ending gives a sense of closure

    • @GameverseChronicles-GC
      @GameverseChronicles-GC  25 дней назад +2

      It's similar to part 3, but I think in the worst-case scenario, the developers probably never considered it would fail. After that, it became an enormous legacy.

    No God of War Betrayal 😢💔

    • @GameverseChronicles-GC
      @GameverseChronicles-GC  27 дней назад +1

      I'm sorry about this! I do remember God of War: Betrayal, but its ending didn’t have a cutscene. It only featured a boss fight and a simple text segment. The ending didn’t convey much meaning or show Kratos’ emotions or development, and above all, it was too short, so I decided not to include it as it doesn’t significantly impact the story. Thank you for watching the video!

      I think the reason Ares exploded upon his death is because his divine power was fully released after being killed by Kratos with the Blade of the Gods.

      don't say trash you can say that greek entries were wayyyyy better and even the creator of kratoss (david jaffee) didn't liked the newer kratos, it's just like it has high graphics, it won G.O.T.Y 2018 and is in talk among almost every newer graphics obssesed so called gamers who mostly plays mainstream games which are popular, all these things does'nt change a minute fact that greek was absolutely superior in many aspects
