I think an interesting challenge that would be similar to this except the Gym Leaders, Elite 4, and Lance have random Pokémon of their type instead of all Pokémon being a possibility.
Example: the Pokémon in Brock's pool of random Pokémon would only be Rock Type Pokémon, Bruno's pool would be Fighter Types only, and Lance's pool would be Dragon Types.

People saying literally everything is randomised… except for Pokémon typings, move typings, move accuracy and damage. Few more things that can be randomised. A 100base power flying type pin missile is a whole new world

imagine doing the Professor Oak's challenge with this mod.
there you have to catch every pokemon available before every gym.
no matter if you went with the rule of "ok so i have to catch every mon before Brock then" or that you have to catch every mon that is available in legit game at that point.
both ways would be literal hell to complete.
It wouldn't be hell - you just have to keep random battling with a team of 6 until you get things. It'd be easier than a normal professor oak challenge since you can just run most of the time.
@@Lambeaux0 at least on normal challenge, you know what is available and can move on.
on this version you would basically stare at the first two towns and their surrounding areas, until you got them all.

He's done much harder challenges like leveling downward, pokemon dies if it faints, damageless, 1hp, etc
Pokémon won't disobey?
They only disobey if the original trainer isn’t you. So traded Pokémon and event Pokémon. Magikarp is bought so OT is still Ant. That’s why when you get a badge it says “traded Pokémon under level 35 will now obey” or whatever
