For a guy with such a reputation for being so ornery, Marc is so likeable. As someone else said, he's immediately endearing. Obviously he's mellowed with age, but he seems like such a good dude with great integrity.
I worked backstage security at a Maron show a few years ago. He stood in the hallway side stage before his set staring me down while aggressively chewing gum.

Marc is obviously an amazing interviewer/broadcaster. Not a big fan of his comedy or vibe but I have to say here is seems happy and willing to play along. Made me laugh a bunch

@@FerntFernt YEASSSSSS its so good i genuinely love every song on there. when i was 16 i would listen to on my team on repeat. kevin morby seems a nice guy i love his work with bands! did you listen to WOODS before? hes the bassist in that band i think. theyre kind of folky psychy style, depends on the album, but my fav of theirs is with light and with love. impossible sky was another play on repeat forevs when i was a teen aha. i think he knows hand habits too maybe plays in their studio sessions or something? or the other way round? theyre another kinda rocky kinda folky nyeowmy guitars artist, SO awesome and theyre a brilliant guitarist. sorry for the longish comment namedropping every band but im Passionate❤🌈 does office hrs take requests for artists to be asked to ve on the show? maybe a patron only thing? but considering theyre based in california im sure a bunch of my favs could be a great guest on the show and always love the musicians.✌✌🌻
The irony is these guys exposed Marc to exactly why Ben Kingsley was so pissed off at the beginning of the WTF Podcast.
The vegan butcher on York - I'm in the neighborhood too - is not just takeout. I don't work there or know anyone who does but it's actually pretty great. Very clean food and place. A sandwich from them during alcohol deox sorta saved me life. Take it for what you will.

I listened to that Ben Kingsley interview after hearing this episode. I honestly think it was fine Ben didn't want to engage in this American bullshit chit chat that Marc was trying to force on him because when he did talk it was liquid gold and absolutely worth listening to.
MM is looking more and more like a Jewish Yosemite Sam. Tim is amazing. Committed!. He gets fit and trim and uses his good looks to create another classic incel, douchebag character.
