Its probably breaking because the mod conflicts with other mods also. You may need to disable Basemod for Workshop and maybe other mods that introduce new mechanics (page mechanics, new combat pages, etc).
There's another roguelike mod for Ruina, called Reception of The Past or something like that. Could check it out if you haven't already?

It would be really cool if it could also put new characters with the mod, like the Sinners from LB and their mirror worlds identities.

maybe you need a clean save for this mod not to break?
@@Leafefeon I think it might be the contrary- since I don't have kether realization done, it might be causing issues? but i don't know for sure!
The mod is made with a complete save file in mind so thats most likely the issue
