I have been waiting since September! But it'll be worth it. I'll hopefully be adding a proper trail-riding video soon so you can see it in action. Stay tuned if you'd like to see more
Had mine for a month now same build as yours, rides really well down technical tracks and is comfortable on long days in the saddle. Climbs well. I see they have put the prices up to when I ordered mine last December.
You might be in for a surprise dude. Ordered mine a month ago and delivery is expected June....but I spoke to Ribble today and was told it could be much sooner as they’ve had a shipment of components. More of a delay on road bikes than mtb apparently.
Thanks for the comment- you are quite right, only after making the video did I realise there wasn't a matching one on the other side! I was quite surprised to see what I thought was a rack-mount, it didn't make sense. Great bike, I just took it for the first proper trail ride today. More videos on that to follow.
Ordered my custom one last week. Went for the Pikes and GX with the Level build kit. How come yours came with the WTB rims? Or are all the HT’s I’ve seen actually running WTB’s but with the Level decals over the top?
Good question- they might be WTB rims with stickers, I'll take a closer look. These are the stock wheels that it came with though, I haven't changed them.
The sizing from 27.5 - 29" is confusing. I'm 5'8" and I should ride a Medium size. However it looks like the 29er runs small. IDK.... 27.5" Medium: 5'8" - 5'10" 29" Medium: 5'5" - 5'8"
Yes definitely! I'll be doing a bit of commentary on some proper trail riding in a couple of weeks and then a little bit later a comparison with the Ragley Blue Pig too.
You could probably get away with it, but I'm on a large and I'm 5ft 10. You might be on the limit. The sizing they give on the Ribble website is in my opinion pretty poor.
@@88stan01 yeah, I actually did a video call with the shop, and the sales assistant told me how tall she was and sat on it etc! I had to buy it blind, but that video call was reassuring and the staff were helpful. Definitely try that before you order.
I guess I just like the proportions a bit better. There aren't any 29ers I really like the look of, but these huge tyres make the circumference pretty big anyway. I don't think there's much in it in terms of performance. Maybe I'd go for 29 inch wheels on a trail bike or x-country though.
Hiya, it's about 12.5 kilos in large size. It doesn't feel particularly light or heavy... About right considering the chunky tyres and length of the thing.
You'll probably be alright I think. I like my bikes slightly on the large side. But let me know when you take delivery, I'd be interested to know how it fits.

Just placed my order. Went for GX and Pike Select+.
Now I have the wait, the long long wait!

Thanks for the video, I've been eyeing one of these up for months but I've never found any reviews/impressions of them online.
That Triumph motorcycle 😍
Nice bike, looks great. Think this would look awesome with a gold chain, to match the other gold accents.
I have the same bike and love it! The small bolt on the right rear pad is from the derailleur hanger, not for a rack.
You're quite right, I figured that out after making the video when I realised there wasn't one on the other side.

Ordered mine today. Unfortunately I've got to wait until the 5th of July for delivery. I'm 5"11 and I've ordered a large. 👍

got the pro version. so supple with the steel!
It’s beautiful
this video makes me miss the queen
Forever in our hearts. And garages.
Bolt at 7.37 is to hold the mech hanger on, not for mounting a rack 👍🏻 nice bike, thinking of getting one myself

Good stuff, I’ll keep an eye out for it

Nice bike and video
Thanks ✌️
Love the bike. I'm 5ft 9, ribble suggest I get a medium but I'm. Unsure now
I think you'll be OK with the medium. I probably could have got away with a medium too, but I like my bikes slightly on the large side.

27.5" Medium: 5'8" - 5'10"

Will you be doing any more videos about this bike m8?
Yes definitely! I'll be doing a bit of commentary on some proper trail riding in a couple of weeks and then a little bit later a comparison with the Ragley Blue Pig too.
@@BikeFlips sweet
Great bike , it's the one I want 😀.
Would you say a large would be good for a 6" 2 guy

@@BikeFlips my bike now is a large and its spot on but I know the ribble are different in their sizing , I just don't want an xl to be massive lol

@@BikeFlips thanks mate 👍will definitely give that a go
Just ordered one, what’s the hub sound like?
Good choice! But if you want a very quiet or noisy hub you'll be disappointed... it sounds very "medium"
What made you choose 27.5 over 29

@@BikeFlips thank you I share the same opinion really. Cheers for the video though, enjoyed it and informative 👍
What's the weight of the bike?

@@BikeFlips that's actually very good. Thanks!
Hi is the frame good quality and is it thin?
I'm very pleased with the build quality and the rivers have that gorgeous skinny look that you can only get with steel
Is it heavy since it’s steel ?
Not really- it's 12.5 kilos, which is about the same as an alloy framed bike of a similar spec
I'm 178cm. 5' 10".
Went with a medium. Hmm
