Shout-outs to Jesse Kotton for popularizing this relatively new combo combo in the competitive meta by using it in Sky Strikers at the NAWCQ 2019 this weekend.
Well if you actually watch the video, I cover it in detail for players unfamiliar with any of the cards and then the advantages/disadvantages of utilized this combo.
Everyone here complaining that this combo was painfully obvious. Here I am nearly two years after this video was made, (keep in mind, the video itself seems to have been considered “late” to address the combo it was made to showcase) and I’m just hearing about this combo. Lmfao
The combo was obvious cause the xyz searches the spell and then says you can summon utopia and the spell says it works when an attack is negated and utopia negates attacks. So what is to discover. The combo was obvious the way konami made it.
I literally only have level 4 monsters in my deck cuz of kachi Kochi dragon, some of the other players at the locals I went to told me about this combo and I am really thankful.
In master duel, this is my favourite deck. If I go second I do the combo and utopia double into utopia, get the 10k attack and usually win. If I go first, I utopia double into ultimate Leo utopia ray and play normally with a 6k monster.
@@twizYGO I'm trying to make a deck for my brother and utopia is his favorite card. any suggestions for someone who isn't used to the game yet that is relatively inexpensive and easy to play would be greatly appreciated. p.s. he also loves shaddolls, but idk what to add with them

A tutorial on how to read two old cards with simple effects that were well established iconic cards and a semi new card that searches the combo? Pointless
Better Combo: Use Double to get Beyond, then it's attack is doubled to 6K. Then use Double or Nothing as a face down in case your attack is negated to boost Beyond to 12K and attack again. At that point, the effect used to negate your attack is probably once per turn, so it's game when the damage hits.

Any deck that can make rank 4 xyz and has a few flexible extra deck slots.
