Jumanji - Jumping clinic @ West Kype

Took the boys out for a play around at west kype last monday, they had lessons running and it's been yonks since I've been sorted haha so thought we would take them along!!
Jumanji was a superstar, so much ping ha i really need to learn to sit his jump better! he was fab though, good confidence boost to get lots of positive feedback and a few pointers, one of which to just have more confidence in myself, and in turn in Jumanji, and to just go for it, and stop holding back and over thinking. I've to try and ditch my whip and stop relying on it, and focus more on really using my leg - but I struggle so much ahha my legs are basically non existent! I also need to stop leaning to the left!? I swear i don't normally do this, but that morning I woke up deaf in my left ear (it's still not 100%) and my balance is definitely out a little. But yeah interesting, will need to keep an eye out cos I swear I'm usually centre haha!
Anyway that was about it, apart from working on getting that really good forward canter and not letting him get sticky (he was tired at the end though, he jumped round three times in the end! Wee lad only had two poles the whole time too, and that was me entirely messing up!) but anyway was great fun, It really was!
Somebody who was watching asked me at the end his age height etc and if i'd sell him.... I was like no no no!! hhaa! Jay is far too special :) Even if next week I couldn't do a thing with him but leave him in a field, I could never sell him. He's part of our family :) and you don't sell family! (Unless it's a sibling and someone makes you a good offer ahaha!!)
Just makes me so proud of Jay and how far he's come on since I bought him six years ago... and I suppose I'll allow myself to be a little proud of myself too :D
Anyway, hope you're all doing well!? I've just been working non stop to be honest! But got a quiet weekend now, I'm going through to stay with some friends, and then the weekend after we might take the boys out to a wee show. Then there's a few weeks of nothing again :)
