i bought one for a fellow gamer friend of mine as a gag gift, its so hilarious with elements of bootleg as the tunes and sounds it plays is from famous games like kirby, metroid, megaman, tetris, pokemon, and more, but were changed just slightly enough to avoid the copywrite ninjas, plus i further bootlegged it by adding little mario stickers to add to the '' game play'' on the screen. tunes and sounds, from, tetris, kirby, megman, metroid, mario, pokemon and more. it made the perfect gag gift for my friend Joseph, we laughed and reminisced over the nostalgia / bootleg elements of this thing.
Doug Bowser is going to be slapping them with that classic Nintendo 'Cease & Desist' personally soon 🤣 joking aside I really liked this. My friends have all had kids recently so this will be my way of introducing the little kids to the concept of handheld gaming haha. I'm surprised how complicated it actually was when opened up purely in terms of how many parts there are in it.
There playing dangerously with some of thoes tunes!! I was surprised too, the controller was essentially just a resin blob. I’m also surprised why toys go to the expense of using screws!

Kind of disappointed you didn’t manage to get a port of doom working on it
Maybe one day
Brilliant! I smiled all the way through. Can't believe I didn't recognise Zelda theme!
Thanks! The more you listen to them the less like the original they sound, but I have listened to it a lot now!
Great video man! I confused Kirby with Zelda but I got the rest of the legally distinct game songs.
Fisher-Price the masters of skirting the line of copyright infringement.
I like that you print small game covers to put in your Game Boy cart cases! Really nice idea!
Thanks! I probably spend more time on them than I should! But it’s another thing I look forward to when getting a new game!
Looks like something you’d give to the kids of someone you want to annoy
And I’m doing it to myself! Something I forgot to mention, unlike the controller there is only one volume - Loud!
This'd make an excellent gameboy case mode.
I’d love to have a go at putting one in. If I find a cheep enough doner one to use I might give it a go.
That looks cool
Yeah the kids are still playing with it!
I can't believe Nintendo let them get away with that! Nice video!!!
Thanks yeah there definitely borderline of copyright issues. Unless they did pay them some licence but I doubt it.
What do you call those 2-pin rectangular plastic connectors inside?
Is there a way to change the language?

It takes 3 double A batteries? That’s more than gbc and gba (less than dmg tho)
It needs the power to keep the volume so loud!!!
Why haven't you made this work yet. 😭 Just take a cheap Gameboy and shove it in there 😭
Cool video but it's a little hard to understand what you're saying!
Thanks! I’m working on improving audio.
the '' zelda one is a combination of a rip off of the zelda, and another tune from kirby, very similar to both haha i love it
Yeah I love the effort they go to with these things.
@@RetrogradeScene very true it was quite creative and it appeals as nostalgia to us adults just as much as it appeals to kids as a fun toy
