At 56:00 as he begins to discuss "Christian prayer," I think he's referring more to modern protestant denominations rather than Orthodox (or Catholic) Christian prayer which is very structured in the same way that Jewish prayer is. I say that as someone that converted from Judaism to Orthodox Christianity. Some church fathers like St. Isaac the Syrian encouraged people to pray in their own words at times, while others seem to discourage it. Even with St. Isaac though it is clear from his writings that the majority of prayer was Psalms, the Our Father Prayer, and the structured prayers of the church from other passages of scripture. Since around the 4th or 5th century Orthodox Christians began reciting the Jesus prayer many times a day. "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Have Mercy on me the Sinner." Conversely I think it is also true of more modern forms of Judaism that there is a tendency towards less structured prayer at times, but on occasions where I visited a reform synagogue they seemed to also primarily pray from a Siddur (prayer book).
Excellent Interview, I had to come back to it a few times to finish it, but it is a really good one.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Interesting point, thank you. :)
I just watched Monty Python this past weekend and when at 30:45 he say's, "Huge tracks of land," I can't filter that through any other lens.
Haha
How do the bible codes jive with the J, E, P, R higher criticism theory??
Bible codes as in the system of numbers that are supposed to reveal hidden messages? Not sure they do. Not sure that's legitimate.
They... Don't? Bible codes are BS.
