    I love the passion and excitement in his voice when he speaks about his subject. And then we have "historians" in india who shamelessly published fabricated events in school history books and now neither provide any reference/proof nor any apology.

      Yes it's just not about India only, the world dont know anything about civilization beyond 5000bc and here he is talking about 15000 years back with so much of proof and we knew history/story which happened earlier than Ramayana .

    Summary- We need more researchers. Here is a current situation. We have researchers. We have funding coming in terms of grants from foreign sources. Ford foundation, Harvard University, Fulbright foundation, Oxford University - to name a few. They have political and religious agenda. Every research topic will be chosen and grant will be given to Indian University students to achieve their religious and political agenda. Romila Thapar, Ram Guha, Arundhati Jennifer Roy, Nivedita Menon are living example of such people. There are foreign authors - researching Indology for more than 25 years with religious and political agenda- Sheldon Polak, Wendy Doniger are few well known examples. We need researchers like Nilesh Oak. Not political and religious biased researchers to distort India's history, rich cultural heritage and show Hindus as 'violating human rights and exploiting women' society. I won't b surprised some of these people will go after Nilesh work, raise questions to show this is questionable and invalid work.

    Enjoyed it thoroughly.
    Arundhati Vasishta is a binary star system in that both rotate around each other. Even today, in Tambrahm marriages, the newly weds are asked to look at Arundhati and Vasishta through a mudra using both hands signifying that both their lives now revolve around each other, forming and eternal bond like Vasishta and Arundhati.

    • @gayatrigg7249
      @gayatrigg7249 4 года назад +3

      That's right. But it's not just Tambrams, but many other tamil communities observe this Arundhati ritual. There is a famous "metti olli" serial my mon used to watch and the title song starts with " ammi ammi ammi midhitu, arundati mugham paaartha". The characters in the serial are not tambrams. I have also witnessed it in several tamil community weddings and across the south. Though it is perfectly ok for one to point out or be proud of the traditions of the community one has grown up in or relates to.

    I am glad that you are obsessed with cronology. At this modern time it is very very important. People are dismissing the great epics as entertainment stories, and civil was between two selfish kings bla bla bla. Leftists and Breaking India forces and all adharmis are good at defaming anything good. Mahabharata is not a book of entertainment, it is call Panchama Veda by our ancistors. Original text are equivalent to Vedas. It is important to stick to original sanskrit version as all other versions are modified in the name of poetry and prose. There are great books in Kannada for example Kumara Vyas Bharata, which it is a great book has deviated from original, according to Dr. Narayanacharya, English professor and Vedanta Acharya. Original has various Strotras, Bhagavad Gita, Nala Maharaja story which is even older than Ramayana, Even ramayana is mentioned in the original Mahabharata. So, it is a great service to humanity that Nilesh proved that these epics are HISTORICAL events. Thank you.

    The analogy of a 10 year baby walk as fascinating to the one compared with an adult gait to describe the value one gets inclined to ascribe to our predecessors acumen for asking and understanding the fundamentals of life , is superb . It leaves us with nothing less than reverence for our Indian ancients. “ So remote in time but not in thought .” Quote by Dr. Radhakrishnan

    This kind of shows. How important is it to preserve Sanskrit.
    The only language in planet, which is identical to how it was thousands of decades ego.
    European languages have so much change in every 100 year.
    Arabic and Mandarin also changes significantly from the day it was originated.
    We must keep every essential information (medical research, astronomy, modern discoveries ....) for future generation, so that it can be preserved further thousands of decades from now.

    Why astronomical observations are included in these texts? Basically Indians used to say or guess time based on these observations only for centuries, day time based on the position of sun, moon at nights and in no moon nights based on the positions of these star clusters (ex. Saptarshi Mandala). So for noting time these astronomical observations are included.
